Synopsis
Charlie Cale is one-of-a-kind. In many ways, she’s just your average run-of-the-mill detective driving from case to case in her Plymouth Barracuda. But the solo sleuth has an incredible ability that she plays very close to her chest. Charlie can always tell when someone is lying. Whether she wants to be or not, Charlie is the perfect private investigator. Catching criminals and unraveling murder mysteries, Cale has a new case at every stop in her travels.

Poker Face is a mystery comedy-drama television series. The show is created by acclaimed director Rian Johnson who takes another stab at the mystery genre after two successful installments of the Knives Out films. Poker Face is a case-of-the-week drama created for the Peacock streaming service. It is executive produced by Rian Johnson alongside Ram Bergman, Natasha Lyonne (who also stars in it), and Nena Rodrigue. Showrunners Nora and Lilla Zuckerman oversee the production with Johnson set to write and direct the first episode.
The cast list is a who’s who of great acting talent led by Natasha Lyonne playing Charlie Cale.
