Synopsis
Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are seeking the One Piece
The One Piece is a fabled fortune that bestows upon its finder, the title King of the Pirates. A young adventurer Monkey D. Luffy is in pursuit of the treasure and in order to find it he needs to assemble a team of pirates. Traveling across the seas, the Straw Hat Pirates, led by Monkey, do everything in their power to evade rival seekers and find the One Piece.

The first season of One Piece brings the swashbuckling pirate manga series to life
One Piece Season 1 is a live-action pirate fantasy TV show produced by Kaji Productions, Tomorrow Studios, and Shueisha for Netflix. The show is based on the famous Japanese manga of the same name. One Piece Season 1 is developed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda. Between them, the pair have worked on television shows such as X-Files, Lost, and Luke Cage. The pair are joined by Cowboy Bebop producers Becky Clements and Marty Edelstein. Marc Jobst and Emma Sullivan are both confirmed as directors for Season 1.
The cast for the first season of One Piece features The Imperfects actor Inaki Godoy in the lead role of Monkey D. Luffy. Mackenyu stars as Roronoa Zoro while Emily Rudd is in the role of Nami.
