Synopsis
Murdered musician Eric Danvers is resurrected to avenge his death and that of his fiancée
A year after musician Eric Danvers and his fiancée Shelly are brutally murdered by a gang, Eric is resurrected from the dead. He assumes a new identity as the vigilante The Crow and begins his bloody mission of vengeance.

What is The Crow about?
The Crow is an upcoming remake of the cult supernatural drama-thriller of the same name about a musician who is violently killed alongside his fiancée and is resurrected in order to seek vengance. The film’s plot is based on James O'Barr’s limited comic book series called The Crow, and was first adapted for the screen in 1994 by Alex Proyas. While the film went on to gain critical success, it is also associated with the death of lead actor Brandon Lee, who was accidentally killed by a squib load from a gun on set during filming. The remake of The Crow is directed by Rupert Sanders, who is known for Ghost in the Shell and Snow White and the Huntsman. The screenplay is written by Zach Baylin (King Richard, Creed III, Gran Turismo) and William Schneider.
Who stars in The Crow?
The Crow stars Bill Skarsgård (IT) as the resurrected musician turned vigilante Eric Draven (aka The Crow). He is joined by singer FKA Twigs as Shelly Webster, Draven’s fiancée. The rest of the cast includes Isabella Wei, Jordan Bolger, Danny Huston, Laura Birn, and Sami Bouajila.
Is The Crow Marvel or DC?
The Crow is actually neither Marvel nor DC. Although the two companies are the main publishers of many well-known comics that have been adapted into films over the last decade, The Crow is actually the property of Caliber Press aka Caliber Comics.
