Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the third Ant-Man film in Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It is directed by Peyton Reed, who previously helmed both Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). It is the first film to be released in Phase Five of the MCU and is part of the franchise's Multiverse saga.
Marvel stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly reprise their roles as Ant-Man and the Wasp respectively. They are joined by Jonathan Majors, who plays the formidable Kang the Conqueror – one of the powerful villains in Marvel Comics. Majors previously played a multiverse variant of Kang known as ‘He Who Remains’ in season 1 of Loki.
Reprising key roles in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania are Michael Douglas as the beloved scientist Hank Pym, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne). Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Scott’s daughter, Cassie Lang, as well as comic actor Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.
