Lupita Nyong’o stars in the the prequel spinoff to A Quiet Place for Paramount
A Quiet Place: Day One is the prequel to the post-apocalyptic horror film, A Quiet Place, produced by Paramount Pictures. Day One marks the third film in the franchise, after the first A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place II, and acts as a prequel. Day One is written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, who is best known for helming the 2021 Nicolas Cage film Pig. Sarnoski wrote the screenplay based on A Quiet Place lead actor and director John Krasinski’s original story. Krasinski previously both wrote and directed A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II, and acts as producer on Day One alongside Braf Fuller, Andrew Form, and Michael Bay.
A Quiet Place: Day One stars Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther, Us), Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), Alex Wolff, Denis O’Hare, and Djimon Hounsou, reprising his role as the Man on the Island.
