The debut season reached at its peak 3.3 million viewers for the gripping finale, with 34 million people having caught up with the show by February 2023. With new twists, 22 new cast members and £120,000 to be won, fans have high hopes that season 2 will live up to the drama of the first outing.
Netflix has another Harlan Coban on the cards for fans of his thrilling book adaptations such as Safe and The Stranger with Fool Me Once that has already risen to the UK Top 10 on the platform. Meanwhile, lords and ladies are waiting in anticipation for the first part of the third season of Bridgerton long-awaited arrival in May. The regency romp is one of Netflix’s best-performing shows with the second season eclipsing the first season's success with 627.11 million hours viewed in the first four weeks since its debut in March 2023.
As you wait in baited breath for the English dukes and viscounts to return, RuPaul’s Drag Race returns for its sixteenth season and long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy releases season 20 in the Spring. Popular school sitcom Abbott Elementary is back for its third season, while a live-action series of the animated Nickelodeon series, Avatar: The Last Airbender is heading to Netflix in February. Meanwhile Marvel is days away from the debut of their latest limited series, Echo, which continues on from the events of Hawkeye and Daredevil.
Towards the end of the year, Ncuti Gatwa finally lands on the small screen with his first season as the Time Lord in season 14 of Doctor Who.
