In 1993, Ted is living with his best friend John in Framingham, Massachusetts. In the family home, 16-year-old John is struggling with his adolescence and school is a tough place for him to be. Luckily for John, he has Ted. While the fluffy bear is a bad influence with foul language he’s also a faithful friend who joins him in his teenage exploits.
"Everyone's favorite raunchy teddy bear returns with a prequel series that follows John and Ted as they tackle high school together. If you loved the Ted movies or other buddy stonder comedies like Pineapple Express and Dude Where’s My Car, you’ll love the humor in the new series. But Ted also has a lot of heart and is a great coming-of-age show about friendship. If you want to binge a series that’s heavy on humor and character, this is one to watch."
"Viewers who loved the Ted movies will love this prequel series as it gives insight into the early years of Ted and John Bennet's unconventional relationship. From the onset, the Seth MacFarlane flair is evident, while Ted is as vulgar and hilarious as ever. He fits right into a 1990s high school setting, and Max Burkholder plays the role of the awkward adolescent version of Bennett to perfection. Ted demonstrates just how well TV show spinoffs of movies can be with a prequel series that is everything fans of the franchise could've hoped for."
