Shooter - Season 1 (2016)

Written by John Hlavin ("Underworld: Awakening") and based on Stephen Hunter's novel "Point of Impact" and the 2007 feature film starring Mark Whalberg, the action-packed drama series "Shooter" centers on Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe), an off-the-grid former Marine sniper. Lured back into action to help thwart a plot to murder the President of the United States, Swagger soon finds himself framed for the assassination attempt. On the run from the authorities, he sets out to find those responsible for double-crossing him. Along the way, he must utilize the many skills he acquired in the Marines to evade capture and bring the traitors to justice.
