Synopsis
The story of Stede and Blackbeard continues. Parted and heartbroken, the pair of pirates are roaming the seas separately in search of companionship. But before he can properly grieve, Stede and his newly rescued crew are searching for a ship of their own to begin pirating again. Meanwhile, the wounded Blackbeard has returned to being a tyrant on the decks. With his two hostages from Stede’s crew, the captain has taken a dark turn back to old ways.

Our Flag Means Death Season 2 is a pirate romantic comedy television series. The show is created and written by David Jenkins. Fernando Frias returns as one of the confirmed directors for season 2 of this swashbuckling series.
Season 2 features the acting talents of comedian and actor Rhys Darby who returns as the gentleman-pirate Stede Bonnet. Director and actor, Taika Waititi continues as the legendary Blackbeard. Ewen Bremner, Con O’Neil, Samba Schutte, and Joel Fry make up the expanded cast amongst others. Our Flag Means Death Season 2 was released on October 5, 2023 on HBO Max.
