Synopsis
Maggie and Negan must put their pasts aside to survive NYC in The Walking Dead: Dead City
The island of Manhattan has been cut off from the mainland and left to rot. Walkers are everywhere and as Maggie and Negan arrive by boat they must navigate their new environment carefully. Once sworn enemies, the pair are forced to work together in order to rescue Maggie’s son Hershel who has been kidnapped by dark forces.

The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 1 is a post-apocalyptic thriller horror television show. It is a sequel to The Walking Dead and marks the fifth overall series that is set within the universe. Dead City Season 1 is created by Eli Jorne, a regular producer on the original show. He is joined by directors Kevin Dowling and Loren Yaconelli.
The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 1 features main characters Maggie and Negan returning from the original television show The Walking Dead. They are played by Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Joining them is Gaius Charles who plays Perlie Armstrong, Jonathan Higginbotham as Tomasso, and Zeljko Ivanak who stars as a character simply known as The Croat. The wider cast includes Mahina Napoleon, Charlie Solis, John Wu, David Chen, and Trey Santiago-Hudson among others. The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 1 was released on the streaming service AMC+ on June 18th, 2023.
