Synopsis
Can Harley and Ivy protect their love while fighting on opposite sides?
Bruce Wayne has been arrested for tax evasion by the freshly-minted Mayor Joker and in his absence, Batgirl has assembled a team. Always looking for a good opportunity, Harley Quinn throws her lot in with the Bat Family and is trying her hand at full-time crime fighting. Meanwhile, her partner and lover Poison Ivy is getting her own promotion. Headhunted by Lex Luthor, the brilliant botanist is set to lead the Legion of Doom, uniting the city's supervillains in one organization. Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn have had a good thing going for a while now but their relationship is about to face the toughest challenge yet. Can the pair overcome their differences or are there some things that even love cannot reconcile?

Series writer, Sarah Peters is promoted to showrunner for Season 4
Harley Quinn Season 4 is an adult animated dark comedy television series. It is produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation. The show is developed by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey. Halpern and Schumacker, who had both served as showrunners are stepping away from that role and moving into the role of executive producers. Filling the void is Sarah Peters, who has successfully written on the show since the first season and now becomes the showrunner. Peters is known for her work on Master of None and Nathan For You showing her expert grasp on offbeat comedy.
American actress, Kaley Cuoco is another executive producer of the show through her production company Yes, Norman Productions. She is also the voice of the titular character Harley Quinn who seems to be shifting in her allegiances. That shift might cause some problems with her partner Poison Ivy, voiced by Lake Bell. Alan Tudyk steps in as Joker again, as well as voicing Clayface amongst a host of other smaller voice roles throughout the series. Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad fame is a scheming Lux Luthor while Diedrich Bader is back as Batman. Teen actor, Jacob Tremblay voices Robin alongside Briana Cuoco who is back as Batgirl. No DC title is complete without the fearless feline Catwoman who is voiced once again by Sanaa Lathan. Harley Quinn Season 4 was released on Max on July 27th, 2023.
