Synopsis
Crowley and Aziraphale are surprised by a new amnesiac angel
What to do once you’ve thwarted the antichrist and saved the world? For the celestial coupling of Crowley and Aziraphale, an angel and demon duo, the only option is to go back to Soho and get on with their lives. Crowley is back in his London flat where he tends to his rare and beautiful collection of herbage and foliage. Aziraphale is back to work as a rare books dealer. Life is easy for the two immortals until a surprise messenger brings an unexpected mystery to their lives. An amnesiac angel is wandering through Soho presenting the pair with a new mission that will take them to unknown reaches. Laying down their lavish habits, Aziraphale and Crowley combine again to poke at this new puzzle and resolve the riddle.

Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's unfinished book sequel becomes Season 2 of Good Omens
Good Omens Season 2 is a fantasy adventure television series created and written by Neil Gaiman for BBC Studios and Amazon Prime. The television series is based on the book written by Neil Gaiman and legendary fantasy writer Terry Pratchett. After the first season adapted the whole book that the pair wrote together, the second season utilizes unreleased materials from a sequel that never made it to the shelves. Gaiman and Pratchett had planned out 668: The Neighbour of the Beast as the follow-up to the hugely popular Good Omens. The six-episode run of season 2 introduces the comedian and writer John Finnemore to the series. He works alongside Neil Gaiman on the writing team to bring alive the unique humor of the books. Douglas Mackinnon is back to directing the episodes and also serves as an executive producer on the series.
The second season will see the sumptuous sight of David Tennant and Michael Sheen resurrecting their onscreen chemistry. Tennant as the demon Crowley and Sheen as the angel, Aziraphale. Both actors are lauded performers in television, theatre, and film with a host of awards and achievements between them. They will however not be the only extraterrestrial beings in the show. Jon Hamm is confirmed to be reprising his role as Archangel Gabriel and Doon Mackichan is Archangel Michael. Joining the whacky world of Good Omens is Gloria Obianyo playing Uriel, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel, and Liz Carr as Saraqael. The trio of new angels is set to bring fresh impetus to the cast after it was confirmed that both Benedict Cumberbatch and Frances McDormand would not be returning to the series. Other new cast members include Alex Norton, Andi Osho, Pete Firman, Tim Downie, Ty Tennant and Peter Davison, and Sian Phillips. The ensemble cast with new and returning performers is shooting on location in Scotland. Good Omens Season 2 was released on July 28th, 2023 on the streaming service Amazon Prime.
