Synopsis
A cure for Alzheimer's. A Nobel Prize. On one remote island, a high stakes battle to solve a medical mystery unfolds. The Illness and the Odyssey gives us an up-close look at the scientific process in the making as we observe internationally acclaimed scientists battling each other to find the cause of a mysterious disease found on Guam - Lytico-Bodig.
