    • Man of Steel
    • Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
    • Justice League
    • Zack Snyder's Justice League
    • Superman

The Superman movies in order can be categorized by four different film series; early Superman movies, the Christopher Reeves Superman franchise, the DC Extended Universe and the DC Universe.

    Early Superman movies (1948 - 1951)

Created by DC Comics in 1938, Superman had his first adaptation in 1941 when Paramount Pictures produced 17 theatrical animated shorts from Paramount Pictures. It stars Kirk Alwyn, who also reprised the role of Clark Kent for the sequel, Atom Man vs. Superman. The third instalment, Superman and the Mole-Men, starred George Reeves.

    Superman film series (1978 - 2006)

The earliest Superman movie that most fans will remember is the 1978 adaptation starring Christopher Reeve. The hit movie, which saw Superman go up against Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman) and General Zod (Terence Stamp), led to three sequels (Superman II, Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace) and a spinoff (Supergirl) in which he appears only in name.

With the fourth instalment performing poorly at the box office, it would be another 19 years until Superman was reinvented for the big screen. Directed by Bryan Singer, Superman Returns is a soft reboot that sees Brandon Routh star as Clark Kent / Superman. Instead of restarting the franchise with a new story, Superman Returns is the sixth instalment of the existing film series starring Christopher Reeves.

    DC Extended Universe / DCEU (2013 - 2023)

In 2013, Warner Bros would task Zack Snyder with kicking off the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), as long-running sagas and expanded cinematic universes became the latest Hollywood trend. Henry Cavill was cast as the star of Man of Steel alongside Amy Adams's Louis Lane, Russell Crowe as Jor-El and Michael Shannon as General Zod. Alongside Batman, Superman would be a key player throughout the DCEU, appearing in X movies between 2013 and 2021. This includes Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeJustice LeagueZack Snyder’s Justice League. Henry Cavill also makes his final appearance (spoilers) as Superman with an uncredited cameo in Black Adam.

    DC Universe (2025 - Ongoing)

While Henry Cavill was immensely popular with DC fans for his portrayal as Superman, he would hang up the red cape to make space for an entirely new DC universe, led by James Gunn and Peter Safran. In 2024, James Gunn announced that David Corenswet would play Superman in the upcoming saga, which plans to include live action and animated adventures within a shared continuity. The movie was originally titled Superman Legacy, which was then ultimately changed to just Superman.

How to Watch My Little Pony Movies and TV shows in order

In 1981, Hasbro released My Pretty Pony, a plastic toy pony with a long mane that kids could brush. The following year, the toy line was rebranded as My Little Pony and they were given a more whimsical feel with new colors, like the iconic pastel pinks and purples the brand is now known for. In 1986, the toy collection got so popular it received a movie (the first of many). Check out our guide below to see where you can stream every My Little Pony movie and TV show on streaming services in the United States.

My Little Pony: The Movie premiered in 1986 and had a fantastic voice cast that included Danny DeVito, Madeline Kahn, and Rhea Perlman. However, the movie was only released in 421 theaters, severely limiting the number of people who could watch it. Still, it grossed over $5 million at the box office.

The movie was followed by the My Little Pony TV series from 1986-1987 and the reboot My Little Pony Tales in 1992. The series also received three straight-to-video releases between 2005 and 2006 with My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas, My Little Pony: The Princess Promenade, and My Little Pony Crystal Princess: The Runaway Rainbow.

In 2011 the franchise became more popular than ever with the premiere of the series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The show ran until 2019 and spawned not just a fanbase, but an entire fandom. On top of the millions of children who loved the show, Friendship is Magic attracted a huge adult audience who created their own community known as Bronies. The fandom even held yearly conventions from 2011-2019 called BronyCon.

During the height of Friendship is Magic’s fame, a theatrically released movie premiered in 2017. My Little Pony: The Movie became a box office success, grossing over $60 million against a budget of just $6 million. The film also had a huge roster of stars voicing the characters, including Taye Diggs, Emily Blunt, and Zoe Saldana, among many others.

In 2020, Friendship is Magic received a short-lived spin-off with Pony Life, and in 2021, My Little Pony moved to Netflix with the exclusive film My Little Pony: A New Generation. The film was followed by the Netflix series My Little Pony: Make Your Mark, which aired from 2021-2023. While the series may have concluded (for now), My Little Pony returned in 2024 with the open-world video game, My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery, so fans luckily still have a lot to look forward to from the franchise. • Where To Watch Every Wolverine Movie in Order

Where To Watch Every Wolverine Movie in Order

Wolverine returned to the big screen in 2024 with the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Deadpool & Wolverine. The movie saw Hugh Jackman reprise his iconic role as James Howlett (a.k.a. Wolverine) alongside Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson (a.k.a. Deadpool). It marked Wolverine's first MCU movie, but the character was portrayed by Jackman in numerous entries beginning from the year 2000.

If you want to watch every Wolverine movie online, this guide is here to help. We'll show you how and where to stream every live-action Wolverine movie in order!

How many Wolverine movies are there?

Wolverine has been in 9 live action movies to date, including 3 Wolverine movies and appearances in almost every X-Men movie. His first live-action movie was released in 2000, when Hugh Jackman was cast as Wolverine in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men. The film introduced numerous iconic castings such as Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and Halle Berry as Storm. It was a major success and kickstarted a long-running X-Men movie franchise. Viewers were especially drawn to Wolverine with his rugged look, mysterious past, and brutal approach to saving the day. Hence, it’s no surprise he had a major role in the sequels X-2 and X-Men: The Last Stand. Once the X-Men original trilogy ended, he was given his first solo movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which earned a sequel, The Wolverine.

Wolverine doesn't age due to his mutant healing abilities, so Hugh Jackman was also able to reprise his role for the X-Men prequel trilogy despite the story taking place several decades earlier. Wolverine makes a brief cameo in First Class but becomes an important character once again in Days of Future Past. He has a cameo in X-Men: Apocalypse, while Dark Phoenix marked the first X-Men movie without him in 2009.

In 2017, Hugh Jackman appeared in his last solo Wolverine movie, Logan, which is heralded as by far the best Wolverine film to date. Logan even earned an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay — a rare recognition for a superhero movie. Afterward, Jackman announced he was retiring from the role.

However, seven years later, Ryan Reynolds convinced him to take up the claws again for Deadpool & Wolverine.

How to watch Wolverine movies in chronological order

There are two ways to watch Wolverine’s movies: in release date or chronological order. Chronological order will be a lot more tricky because it requires switching back and forth between multiple film series. However, if one chooses this route, the chronological order is as follows:

    • X-Men: First Class (cameo)

    • X-Men: Days of Future Past

    • X-Men Wolverine: Origins

    • X-Men: Apocalypse (cameo)

    • X-Men

    • X2

    • X-Men: The Last Stand

    • The Wolverine

    • Logan

    • Deadpool & Wolverine

How to watch Wolverine movies in release order

Watching the X-Men movies chronologically can get confusing, especially since one timeline ultimately gets erased, and some films switch between the past and present. If you'd prefer to watch all the Wolverine movies in release order, you can find out where to stream them below!

  • How to Watch Every Hulk Movie and Series in Order

How to Watch Every Hulk Movie and Series in Order

The Incredible Hulk has had a pretty strange journey through film and television. From TV to the big screen, and back to TV again, check out our guide below to discover how to watch every movie and series that features The Incredible Hulk.

After debuting in Marvel comics in 1962, the Hulk quickly became a fan-favorite character. In 1977, he was brought to life for the first time in the series The Incredible Hulk. Starring Bill Bixby as the Hulk, the show was initially a hit before it began losing ratings…and thus, the strange saga of the Hulk began.

In 1982, the original series was canceled, but fans continued to be interested in the Hulk. So, in 1988, Bixby returned for a series of made-for-TV Hulk movies that aired in ‘88, ‘89 and ‘90. The final movie, The Death of the Incredible Hulk even features Banner dying at the end. From 1996-1997, the Hulk also starred in an unrelated The Incredible Hulk cartoon.

In 2003, the Hulk would find his way into another live-action adaptation, this time on the big screen. After gaining international fame for his movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, director Ang Lee decided to make the Hulk’s first theatrical film. Starring Eric Bana as Bruce Banner, Hulk became a smash hit, earning $62.6 million in its opening weekend, which, at the time, was one of the highest-grossing opening weekends ever. However, it received a mixed response from critics and its long runtime made it lose appeal with younger viewers.

Just five years later in 2008, the Hulk received another film adaptation… this time as an official part of the MCU. As a complete reboot, The Incredible Hulk had nothing to do with the ‘03 film and Edward Norton took over the role as Banner. Once again, the film received a lukewarm response from critics and only had a so-so box office performance, earning just $264 million after costing the studio $150 million to make. Though the movie wasn’t a total flop, its profit margin wasn’t enough to justify a sequel, and it remains the Hulk’s final standalone film.

In 2012, Bruce Banner was recast yet again, with Mark Ruffalo landing the role. Ruffalo is still currently portraying the Hulk throughout the MCU, though he’s never gotten his own film. But he’s starred in The Avengers series and has had appearances in films like Iron Man 3 and Thor: Ragnarok. Most recently he appeared in the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

While there’s still no standalone Hulk movie in the works, Marvel has announced more Avengers movies are on the way. Though the full casting details haven’t been announced yet, fans may see more of the Hulk in the future. Until then, check out our guide below to see where you can stream every Hulk show and movie in order.

  • How to Watch the Guardians of the Galaxy Series In Order

How to Watch the Guardians of the Galaxy Series In Order

The Guardians of the Galaxy made their first comic book appearance in 1969, but the superhero team that audiences recognize first arrived in the 2008 comic revival of the series. Then, in 2014, Marvel made a film adaptation of the popular comic. As we all know, Guardians of the Galaxy became a smash hit and has since led to more sequels, TV shows, and even a holiday special. Check out our guide below to find out how to watch the entire franchise in order.

In the original 2014 film, Peter Quill (played by Chris Pratt) finds himself on the run after stealing a mysterious orb. Along the way, he meets a wide range of characters whose fates have brought them together. In the end, the group realizes that despite their differences, they’re much stronger when they work together…ultimately forming the Guardians of the Galaxy. In the film’s climax, the plant creature Groot must sacrifice himself to save the team. Luckily, at the end of the film, we see that he hasn’t died, and instead is regrowing as a young seedling. The adventures of this new “baby Groot” are chronicled in the 2022 Disney+ series I am Groot.

The next installment came in 2015 when Disney XD premiered an animated Guardians of the Galaxy series which ran until 2019. The show followed the crew’s various adventures throughout the galaxy, and its third season is especially notable. The season was subtitled Mission Breakout and dives into the same story as the popular Disneyland ride of the same name. For diehard fans, watching the season is a must before riding the ride to give you a better backstory.

Volume 2 then premiered in 2017 and dived deeper into Quill’s emotional backstory. In the movie, he ends up meeting his father, the god-like Ego (played by Kurt Russell). In the beginning, Ego seems like a loving father who has missed his son, but soon his kind-hearted attitude gives way to an insidious plan. In the end, Quill must realize that his team of misfits has actually become his true family and that he’s strongest when he’s by their side.

Next up was the Holiday Special in 2022, which was both hilarious and heartfelt. In the special, Quill tries to teach the team the meaning of Christmas…and in a misguided attempt at giving him a present, Mantis and Drax travel to Earth and kidnap Kevin Bacon. The special also includes a rocked-up Christmas soundtrack with bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, The Pogues, and The Waitresses.

The most recent addition to the Guardians franchise was Volume 3, which premiered in 2023. The movie takes place after Gamora dies in Avengers: Infinity War and dual plots follow the gang trying to save a planet from destruction while Rocket learns of his tragic origins.

Though a fourth film hasn’t been announced yet, fans can still experience the Guardians’ story at Disney Parks thanks to Mission Breakout at Disneyland and Cosmic Rewind at Disney World. Both rides prominently feature the main cast, have great soundtracks, and are fun ways to dive deeper into the MCU.

The original Die Hard stars Bruce Willis as John McClane, a detective who arrives in Los Angeles to reconcile with his estranged wife. But after her Christmas Party in Nakatomi Plaza (set in the real-life Fox Plaza in LA’s Century City) is ambushed by a group of terrorists, it’s up to McClane to save his wife and take down the terrorist organization. The movie became a smash hit, grossing over $143 million and becoming the 7th highest-grossing movie of the 1988.

A sequel, Die Hard 2, eventually hit theaters in 1990. This time around, McClane arrives at Dulles Airport in Washington DC to meet his wife who is flying in from LA. But a corrupt military leader is also landing at the same time, and his devout followers seize Dulles, shutting down air traffic control and demanding safe passage for their leader…otherwise, planes will crash. The sequel was an even bigger success, grossing $240 million.

Next up was Die Hard with a Vengeance in 1995. The film takes place in New York City after a bomb explodes in midtown Manhattan during the morning commute, and a member of the German terrorist group from the first film claims responsibility. He orders McClane to perform a series of tests, threatening to kill more people if he doesn’t. Yet again, the film grossed even more than its predecessors, raking in over $366 million.

After taking a 12-year hiatus, the franchise returned in 2007 with Live Free or Die Hard. The new film brought the franchise into the modern era and focused on the emerging problem of cyber terrorism. In the movie, McClane is sent to recruit a young hacker to help the government counter-hack a terrorist organization that’s trying to destroy America through technology, compromising the nation’s transit networks and the stock market.

The final Die Hard film, A Good Day to Die Hard, came out in 2013. McClane finds trouble yet again, this time in Russia after a corrupt government official tries to silence a whistleblower. He needs the help of his estranged son, CIA official Jack McClane, to help him get the job done and the duo have an action-packed escape from Russia. Willis ended up reprising his role as McClane for the final time in a 2020 commercial before retiring from acting due to his dementia diagnosis in 2022.

  • Where To Watch Every Taylor Swift Concert Film and Documentary in Order

Where To Watch Every Taylor Swift Concert Film and Documentary in Order

Taylor Swift’s concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, made its highly anticipated arrival on streaming for Disney+ in 2024. While Swift is best known for her music, this isn’t the first time she has been the subject of a film. She has starred in several concert films and documentaries, each of which grants fans an intimate look into the singer’s life and allows them to enjoy her concerts in the comfort of their homes. For viewers who want more of Swift in their lives, here’s where and how to watch all her movies.

While Taylor Swift is arguably one of the most famous people in the world, the singer comes from humble beginnings. She spent most of her childhood growing up on an 11-acre Christmas tree farm in Reading, Pennsylvania, before her whirlwind rise to fame and first record deal at age 15. Hence, her first concert film, Taylor Swift: Journey to Fearless, doesn’t just capture portions of her first major tour but also explores her story leading up to it. Similarly, the early documentaries Taylor Swift: Just for You and Taylor Swift: From the Heart dive into her childhood to give viewers a rare glimpse into the singer’s personal life.

The various films she has made over the years also allow viewers to track her growth and progress as an artist and influencer. Her concert film Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018 marked a turning point in her career. Reputation was her final album with her original record label, Big Machine Records, and the impending tonal shift in her music is hinted at in these passionate performances.

By 2020, the singer, who is known for being very private, released the deeply personal Miss Americana, in which she established that she had grown far beyond the teenage pop star she started out as and was ready to use her platform and voice to advocate for others.

Her more recent concert films, including Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions and Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, capture her exploration of the indie folk genre after her departure from Big Machine Records, as she reinvents herself as a musician and embraces her global stardom. Along the way, Swift has also dabbled in directing with All Too Well: The Short Film, which gives an additional look into her art.

For those seeking the whole Swift experience, here are all her concert films, documentaries, and short films in order from newest to oldest and where to stream them.

  • Where To Watch Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy in Order

Where To Watch Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy in Order

At the 96th Academy Awards, director Christopher Nolan took home his first two Oscars for Oppenheimer. The wins renewed discussion and interest in The Dark Knight trilogy, which many viewers believe should have garnered Nolan his first Oscar win over a decade ago. For those interested in exploring Nolan’s trilogy, this guide will explain where and how to stream it in order.

The lack of Best Picture or Best Director nominations for any of Nolan's three films in the Batman series has long been controversial. Even famed director Steven Spielberg has suggested that The Dark Knight would have at least earned a Best Picture nomination today. The film’s devastating snub is believed to have influenced the Best Picture category changing its rules to include ten nominees rather than 8.

The furor over its lack of accolades is a testimony to how influential Nolan’s series is. It was surprising in 2005 when the critically acclaimed director signed on to direct Batman Begins. The MCU and DCEU didn’t exist at this time, and most superhero movies suffered from technology limitations and campiness. However, something about the complexity of the brooding vigilante Bruce Wayne (a.k.a. Batman) appealed to Nolan. He wanted to reinvent the character onscreen, and he did.

Christian Bale took on the role of Batman alongside Michael Caine’s Alfred Pennyworth, Liam Neeson’s Ra’s al Ghul, and Cillian Murphy’s Scarecrow. Batman Begins was dark and sophisticated, and it featured groundbreaking visual effects for the time as it delved into Batman’s tragic origin story and explored the moral complexity of saving the corrupt Gotham City. Not only did it reinvent Batman, but it aided in reinventing and modernizing the whole superhero genre.

In 2008, the sequel, The Dark Knight, was released to stellar reviews. It pitted Batman against his most iconic enemy, the Joker. Heath Ledger received an Oscar nomination for his mesmerizing performance as the villain. Not only is it the best film in the trilogy, but it is also considered one of the greatest superhero movies of all time with its action-packed premise, brilliant performances, and sophisticated themes.

Unfortunately, the trilogy did stumble a bit with the final film, The Dark Knight Rises, largely because Ledger’s passing led to the Joker being replaced with Tom Hardy’s Bane. The shift in plans led to a slightly messy plot. While it struggled to eclipse its predecessor, it still proved to be a satisfying and well-received conclusion.

Here is where and how to watch Nolan’s entire The Dark Knight trilogy in order, from oldest to newest.

  • How to Watch Every Exorcist Movie and Series in Order

How to Watch Every Exorcist Movie and Series in Order

The Exorcist first hit theaters in 1973 and quickly earned a reputation as the scariest movie ever made. That year, The New York Times even reported that during its premiere screenings, audiences began vomiting and fainting from fear – with one woman allegedly even having a miscarriage right in the theater. While most of these claims are likely false, they showcase just how shocking and terrifying the movie was. Since then, five more movies and a TV series have been released in the franchise, with more sequels on the way.

Find out how to watch every Exorcist installment in chronological order with our guide below.

If you want to watch The Exorcist franchise in order of release dates, it would be:

    • The Exorcist (1973)

    • Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977)

    • The Exorcist III (1990)

    • Exorcist: The Beginning (2004)

    • Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist (2005)

    • The Exorcist series (2016-2017)

    • The Exorcist: Believer (2023)

But if you want to watch the series in chronological order, here’s how:

The Exorcist actually has pretty murky beginnings – with two rival prequels telling the same origin story in two different ways (this is the result of some classic Hollywood studio drama). 2006’s Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist and 2004’s Exorcist: The Beginning both star Stellan Skarsgård as Father Lankester Merrin, and both films center around Merrin encountering the demon Pazuzu for the first time in the late ‘40s and learning of the evil force’s backstory that dates back to around 500 A.D.

However, most fans can skip over these films as their vibes are very different from the later installments. The next chapter in the saga is the original 1973 movie where the young Regan (played by Linda Blair) gets possessed by Pazuzu, turning her into the iconic bedridden, green, scab-covered monster that the film is famous for.

In 1977, Blair reprised the role of Regan for The Exorcist II: Heretic. This time around, Pazuzu is back and wants Regan once more. But in the sequel, we also learn that Regan has certain telekinetic powers, which is why the demon chose her. However, this new twist made the film feel more sci-fi than horror, which has given it a controversial legacy amongst fans.

The Exorcist III came out over a decade later in 1990. The movie follows a minor character from the first film, Detective Kinderman, as he investigates a series of murders in the Georgetown area. It’s later revealed the killings are being committed by various people who are possessed by a deceased serial killer that gets his power from Pazuzu. The plot is totally bonkers, but the movie is considered a cult hit among fans.

Next up chronologically would be the FOX series The Exorcist which aired from 2016-2017. The first season starred Oscar-winner Geena Davis as Regan, now as an adult. Pazuzu once again comes for her, this time attacking her at her weakest point by going after her children. Seeing no other options to save her family, Regan finally gives in and lets Pazuzu take her, turning her into a murderous, soulless minion.

In 2023, the franchise returned once again with The Exorcist: Believer. The movie takes place 50 years after the original and follows two young girls who go missing in the woods. When they mysteriously emerge a few days later and start showing strange symptoms, a desperate father reaches out to Chris MacNeil (played by Ellen Burstyn, who reprises her role from the first film) for help. Naturally, all hell breaks loose and the girls devolve into fully possessed beings.

Two more Exorcist sequels are currently in the works. Until then, find out where to chronologically stream every entry in the franchise using our guide below.

  • Where To Watch Every Movie That Won Best Actor at the Oscars

Where To Watch Every Movie That Won Best Actor at the Oscars

As highly predicted, Cillian Murphy won the Academy Award for Best Actor at the 96th Oscars. He won the award for his portrayal of J. Robert Oppenheimer in Oppenheimer. Murphy wholly transformed into the historical figure and was able to convey the conflicting life and morals of the creator of the atomic bomb. Now, he joins a list of just 86 actors to win America's most prestigious acting award. This guide will revisit all of the movies that hold Best Actor-winning performances and reveal where to stream them.

Emil Jannings was the first nominee to win Best Actor at the 1st Academy Awards in 1929. Back then, actors could win the award for multiple films. Hence, he won for his roles as Grand Duke Sergius Alexander in The Last Command and August Schilling in The Way of All Flesh. Since the rules changed afterward, Jennings is the only actor to win the award for multiple roles.

While a lot has changed about the Oscars in 96 years, one thing that has not is the Best Actor category. To this day, it remains one of the Big Four awards one can win. It has been awarded to a wide variety of men for many different roles, such as Sidney Poitier for Lilies of the Field, Jack Nicholson for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Adrien Brody for The Pianist, and Joaquin Phoenix for Joker.

While every win is a significant achievement, several particularly notable wins have occurred. In 2012, Daniel Day-Lewis won his third Best Actor for portraying Abraham Lincoln in Lincoln. Hence, he became the only actor to have ever won Best Actor three times at the time of writing. As for the actors with the most Best Actor nominations in history, Laurence Olivier and Spencer Tracy are tied with a whopping nine nominations each.

However, several men have earned two Best Actor awards in their lifetime, including Nicholson, Marlon Brando, Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks, and Anthony Hopkins. In addition to being one of few actors to win Best Actor twice, Hopkins became the oldest winner when he won for The Father in 2020 at age 83.

Here’s where to watch every movie that has produced an Oscar-winning performance from newest to oldest.

Where To Watch Every King Kong Movie and TV Show in Order

The King Kong franchise begain in 1933, laying the foundation for more monster characters like Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah. A sequel, The Son of Kong, was released nine months after the first King Kong movie. However, the franchise’s history got much more complicated after that, as the rights passed back and forth between studios. Filmmaker Willis O’Brien formulated an idea for King Kong vs. Frankenstein, but John Beck took his idea behind his back and presented it to the Japanese studio Toho, which then reworked the film into King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962) without crediting O’Brien, marking the first of many complicated legal dealings regarding the franchise.

By 1976, the franchise had moved back to America with King Kong (1976), the first remake of the original directed by John Guillermin. The film resulted in a lawsuit from Universal Pictures, which sought to prove that King Kong was in the public domain so that it could make its own remake. Since the 1933 movie was novelized and the book's copyright was not renewed, the book version of King Kong was officially declared to be in the public domain. Hence, in 2005, Universal released its own remake, King Kong, with Peter Jackson directing and Andy Serkis as Kong.

Initially, Universal planned a sequel, but at this point, Warner Bros. and Legendary swooped in and secured the franchise rights. The studios soon created the MonsterVerse and introduced Kong to it in Kong: Skull Island, which starred Tom Hiddleston, John Goodman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Brie Larson. The plan was to create a shared universe with multiple major kaiju, so it wasn’t long before Kong was reunited with his old nemesis Godzilla in Godzilla vs. Kong. While Godzilla and King Kong have long been nemeses on the big screen, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024) saw them join forces.

Several animated King Kong TV shows have also been made, but the only one that officially ties into the movies is Skull Island, which is canon in the MonsterVerse.

How can I watch every King Kong movie in order?

Here's how to watch all of King Kong’s movies and TV shows in release order, from newest to oldest. This includes streaming details for every movie in the franchise so you can find out which King Kong movies are on Netflix, Prime Video, MAX and every other streaming service in the United States.

  • The 10 Best Spike Lee Joints, Ranked, and Where to Watch Them

The 10 Best Spike Lee Joints, Ranked, and Where to Watch Them

Spike Lee has been called many things – controversial, firebrand, and an auteur – but one thing that can’t be denied is that he’s a fantastic filmmaker. Often focusing on social issues like racism, Lee has created a lengthy portfolio of movies that continue to push buttons and ask questions. Check out our guide below to discover Spike Lee’s 10 best movies and where to stream them.

Lee first broke into Hollywood with his 1986 film She’s Gotta Have It. The movie follows a woman as she balances her crushes on three different men (Lee himself even plays one of the men in the film). It was also Lee’s first time taking on writing, directing, and producing duties in a major film. The movie became a huge success for the first-time filmmaker, premiering at Cannes and earning Lee an Independent Spirit Award.

Lee’s most iconic film however is easily Malcolm X, which takes the #2 spot on our list. The movie was a biopic that followed the life of civil rights activist and religious preacher Malcolm X. Malcolm was played by Denzel Washington and the movie showed X’s upbringing, incarceration, indoctrination to the Nation of Islam, redemption, and ultimately, his tragic assassination. The film was a massive hit and Denzel Washington even earned himself an Oscar nomination for his role.

But the #1 spot on our list goes to BlacKkKlansman. The movie tells the wild but true story of Colorado police officer Ron Stallworth, a Black man who infiltrated a local chapter of the KKK to spy on them and offer information to police and the FBI. The film was hard-hitting yet hilariously absurd…made even crazier by the fact that it was all based on real events. BlacKkKlansman received six Oscar and Six Golden Globe nominations, including Best Director and Best Picture at both ceremonies.

While much of Lee’s filmography focuses on racial issues and Black life in America, he’s also directed a wide range of other movies, like the #3 film on the list, Inside Man. At first, the movie seems like a classic heist story, but a very unique twist flips the entire story on its head in the finale, making it a thrilling watch for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.

Check out all 10 of Spike Lee’s best movies from his decades-long career, and find out where you can watch all of them in our guide below.

  • A Guide to Every Movie in The Omen Franchise and Where to Watch Them

A Guide to Every Movie in The Omen Franchise and Where to Watch Them

“Look at me Damien, it’s all for you!” Those lines have become iconic in horror history thanks to The Omen, a film about a married couple whose baby is secretly swapped out with the antichrist. Unknowingly, they raise and nurture the spawn of Satan… and mysterious, horrific events begin to happen all around them. Check out our guide below to find out where to stream all six Omen films, including 2024's The First Omen.

The newest film in the franchise is The First Omen, which is a prequel that tells the story of how Damien was born and the tortured final days of the woman who was forced to birth him. Taking place in Rome (where the first movie and its 2006 remake begin) the film is set to take audiences right up to the very moment where the original story begins.

The First Omen serves as the first new film in the series in almost 20 years, with the most recent being the 2006 remake that starred Julia Stiles and Liev Schreiber. The movie premiered on June 6, 2006, making its release date 6.6.06, which helped add lots of hype to its premiere. The Omen ended up earning almost $120 million at the box office, making it the highest-grossing movie in the series so far.

Before the remake, The Omen had a series of four films that all built on a continuing plot line. The 1976 original movie follows Damien as a child. Without giving away any spoilers, the movie concludes with him finding his way into the White House, alluding that Satan will be able to carry out his nefarious plans on a widespread political level.

The 1978 sequel Damien: Omen II sees Damien, now a 12-year-old, continuing his journey through life, killing everyone who might get in his way…though sadly, this film dropped the White House plot set up in the first movie, which would have made for an absolutely wild film.

The third movie in the series was 1981’s Omen III: The Final Conflict. Damien is now an adult and played by the great Sam Neill (who many know as Dr. Grant from Jurassic Park). In the film, Damien has found his way into politics to assert his influence on a global scale as he fights to ensure the second coming of Christ can’t happen. Despite getting mixed reviews, Neill’s performance received some praise from critics and the movie earned $20 million at the box office, which wasn’t too bad for 1981.

The final film in the original tetralogy was the 1991 made-for-TV movie Omen IV: The Awakening. The movie follows a married couple who adopt a young girl, and it soon becomes clear that she’s set to become the new antichrist. As a ‘90s made-for-TV horror movie, Omen IV failed to deliver many scares or meaningful tension, thus killing off the franchise for over a decade until the reboot stirred new interest in The Omen.

Check out our guide below to discover where you can watch all six Omen movies.

  • Where to Watch Every MonsterVerse Entry in Chronological Order

Where to Watch Every MonsterVerse Entry in Chronological Order

Who doesn’t love watching giant monsters use the planet as a battlefield while they fight for dominance? Following the release of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, now is the perfect time to dive into the MonsterVerse (or rewatch your favorites if you’re already a fan). Check out our guide below to find out how to watch every MonsterVerse entry in chronological order.

The MonsterVerse officially began in 2014 with the release of Godzilla. It was the second American-made Godzilla movie ever and the first to hit US theaters in over 15 years. But the film proved that audiences’ fascination with the giant titan had only grown stronger over the years, turning Godzilla into a smash hit that grossed over $529 million at the box office.

Three years later, King Kong received his first big-screen adaptation in over a decade with Kong: Skull Island. In a post-credits scene, it’s revealed that Kong isn’t the only monster…he’s just one of many titans, including Godzilla. This scene officially linked the two movies, signaling that a cinematic universe had been born.

From there, we’ve received sequels, crossover films, and both Godzilla and King Kong have been given series adaptations with Netflix’s Skull Island and Apple TV+’s critically acclaimed series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. The MonsterVerse has become famous for its massive battles that have brought classic titans back to life with modern graphics like Mothra, Ghidorah, and Rodan.

But aside from the fantastic special effects and the larger-than-life battles, the series often reveals glimmers of its underlying messages about nature and respecting the balance that keeps Earth hospitable to life. The series often questions the creation of nuclear weapons and humanity’s continued destruction of the natural world, proving that the MonsterVerse is much more than just giant monsters.

The MonsterVerse’s release order is not the same as its chronological order. If you want to watch the MonsterVerse in order of its release dates, it would be:

    • Godzilla (2014)

    • Kong: Skull Island (2017)

    • Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

    • Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

    • Skull Island (2013)

    • Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023)

    • Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024)

But if you want to watch the MonsterVerse in chronological order, based on the events within each film and series, then check out our guide below to discover what the order is and where to stream each entry.

  • Where To Watch Every Planet of the Apes Movie and TV Show in Order

Where To Watch Every Planet of the Apes Movie and TV Show in Order

After a 7-year hiatus, the Planet of the Apes franchise lives on with the release of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. If you want to watch the entire franchise online, here’s how and where to stream all the Planet of the Apes movies and TV shows in order. This includes the latest streaming details for every movie and TV show on popular streaming services such as Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.

Planet of the Apes was released on 1968, telling the story of an astronaut crew who land on a planet where apes have attained human-like intelligence and are the dominant species. The film adaptation of Pierre Boulle’s novel of the same name is considered one of the greatest sci-fi classics ever made due to its political commentary and groundbreaking costumes and makeup. As one of science fiction's best movie franchises, the Apes saga now includes 10 movies and 2 TV shows.

Planet of the Apes was such a huge hit that Fox quickly ordered a sequel, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, which was released in 1970. The franchise continued with Escape from the Planet of the Apes in 1971. The movie is known for introducing the most recognizable star of the franchise, Caesar.

While 20th Century Fox ordered two more sequels, Conquest of the Planet of the Apes and Battle for the Planet of the Apes, which marks the final movie in the original Apes film series. Afterwards, two TV shows were produced, Planet of the Apes in 1974 and Return to the Planet of the Apes in 1975, both running for a single season. The studio also planned a remake of the original hit movie. However, the remake languished in developmental hell for 28 years until Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes (2001) was finally released. Starring Mark Wahlberg, the 2001 remake of Planet of the Apes was a financial success but received mixed reviews. 20th Century Fox ultimately decided to move forward with a franchise reboot.

Released in 2011, Rise of the Planet of the Apes marked the beginning of a prequel trilogy showing the events before 1968's Planet of the Apes. Spearheaded by director Matt Reeves, the reboot proved comparably successful and received two sequels, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes. The franchise continues with Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the first in a new trilogy that takes place 300 years after War for the Planet of the Apes.

  • Every Movie to Win Best Actress at the Oscars, and Where to Watch Them

Every Movie to Win Best Actress at the Oscars, and Where to Watch Them

At the 96th Academy Awards, Emma Stone won her second Best Actress Oscar thanks to her role in Poor Things, where she plays a childlike woman who is brought back to life thanks to a revolutionary brain transplant. The movie joins a lofty ensemble of films that have taken home the coveted award honoring actresses who have portrayed hilarious, heartbreaking, and pivotal characters throughout cinematic history. Discover every movie to win Best Actress and find out where to stream them in our guide below.

The first Best Actress winner ever was Janet Gaynor, who was nominated for three films that year: 7th Heaven, Street Angel, and Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans. This was the only time an actress won an Academy Award for playing multiple roles in different films. Since then, the prestigious honor has been awarded to actresses from all walks of life in a wide array of films, like Julie Andrews for Mary Poppins, Cher for Moonstruck, Halle Berry in Monster's Ball, and Reese Witherspoon for Walk the Line, among many others.

In 1991, Jodie Foster won Best Actress for The Silence of the Lambs, which was a significant moment because very few horror and suspense films are ever recognized by the academy. In fact, The Silence of the Lambs scored every major award at the 64th Oscars. On top of Foster’s win, the movie also earned Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay, making it one of just a handful of movies to take home every major award.

So far, the all-time highest winner for the Best Actress Oscar is Katherine Hepburn, who holds the record with four wins for her films Morning Glory, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, The Lion in Winter (which she tied with Barbra Streisand's performance in 1968's Funny Girl) and On Golden Pond. Meryl Streep presently holds the record for most Best Actress nominations, being nominated a whopping 17 times, winning twice for Sophie’s Choice and The Iron Lady.

Check out our guide below to discover all the movies that have won the Oscar for Best Actress and find out where to stream them.

  • Where To Watch Every Ghostbusters Movie and TV Show in Order

Where To Watch Every Ghostbusters Movie and TV Show in Order

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire marked the fourth installment in the Ghostbusters series after the franchise’s modern revival. For newcomers to the franchise or those seeking a refresher, this guide will detail all the previously released Ghostbusters movies. We also provide information on where to stream all the Ghostbusters movies and TV shows in order using services like Netflix, Prime Video, Max and more!

The franchise started with the 1984 movie Ghostbusters. Audiences were enthralled by the story of Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), and Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson), four men who start a ghost-hunting business. Ghostbusters’ solid performances, witty dialogue, clever script, and catchy theme song resulted in the movie becoming a cultural phenomenon and far exceeding box office and critical expectations.

Columbia Pictures was eager for a sequel, but trouble was brewing from the start. The sequel had a notoriously difficult time getting all the original actors to sign on. Meanwhile, production was rushed, and large portions of the movie were scrapped. Hence, Ghostbusters II was hardly comparable to the original's success, largely diminishing hopes for the third installment.

When original Ghostbusters star Ramis passed away in 2014, hope for a direct sequel was so low that Sony rebooted the franchise with Ghostbusters (2016). The movie swapped out the lead cast for an all-female lead cast, including Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. The film was such a box office flop that the idea of a reboot sequel was quickly shut down.

Finally, Jason Reitman, the son of Ghostbusters’ original director, Ivan Reitman, saved the franchise. He did the impossible and convinced the three surviving original Ghostbusters actors to reprise their roles. He also tapped Finn Wolfhard and McKenna Grace for the next generation of ghost-hunters. The result was the 2021 movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife, a fresh new take on the franchise that proved to be a touching tribute to Ramis. The movie teased that there was more to come from the revived franchise, and it wasn’t long before Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire was greenlit, with all the original and new cast members from Ghostbusters: Afterlife returning.

Where to watch all the Ghostbusters movies and TV shows online

The best way to watch the Ghostbusters movies is by release date order since the movies were released chronologically. Additionally, there are three animated spinoff series that aren’t necessary to understand the movies but are fun to watch for the whole franchise experience. Here’s the franchise in order by release date from newest to oldest and where to stream them in the United States!

  • The 15 Best Robert De Niro Movies and Where to Watch Them

The 15 Best Robert De Niro Movies and Where to Watch Them

Robert De Niro is one of the most acclaimed actors in Hollywood history. Throughout his nearly 60-year career, he’s earned himself nine Oscar nominations (winning twice) and 12 Golden Globe nominations, including receiving the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award in 2011. If you want to watch the best films of his career, check out our guide below to find out where you can stream them.

De Niro has been in a lot of movies. He’s starred in tons of mafia films, he’s been in numerous military movies, and he’s even been in a few hit comedies, like the #4 movie on the list, Meet the Parents. Released in 2000, the movie follows a man (Ben Stiller) who visits his girlfriend’s parents for the first time. The only problem is that her father (De Niro) is an overprotective, somewhat paranoid retired CIA agent who will do anything to sabotage his daughter’s relationship. De Niro was hilarious in the movie and stands out as the most memorable character in the film. The role even earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

And you can’t talk about De Niro’s acting career without mentioning his iconic Oscar-nominated performance in the #2 movie on our list, Taxi Driver. His line, “You talkin’ to me?” has become one of the most-quoted lines ever and remains a memorable moment in cinematic history – even more impressive is that De Niro improvised that entire scene.

The film centers around De Niro’s character, a taxi driver who becomes disgusted with the amount of crime and sleaze he sees in New York City. Before long, his anger becomes delusion and he descends into a state of madness where he’s ready to kill all the criminals around him, regardless of the consequences.

But the best De Niro film of all time, holding the #1 spot on our list, would be The Godfather Part II. Not only did it earn De Niro an Oscar, but the movie also won five other Oscars, including Best Picture. Often praised as better than the original, the sequel continued the story of the Corleone crime family and is split between two eras, the turn of the 20th century and the late 1950s. The movie was loaded with memorable scenes and was packed with an all-star cast including Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, Robert Duvall, and James Caan.

But De Niro’s filmography is loaded with tons more hits – from him portraying a hilarious and charming cross-dressing sky pirate in Stardust to his latest Oscar-nominated role in Killers of the Flower Moon, which tells the true story of the infamous murders in Osage, Oklahoma by a greedy cattle rancher. Check out our guide below to find out Robert De Niro’s 15 best movies and where to stream them.

  • Where To Watch All The Equalizer Movies and TV Shows in Order

Where To Watch All The Equalizer Movies and TV Shows in Order

Before there was John Wick or Jason Bourne, there was Robert McCall in The Equalizer. Arguably even deadlier than Wick or Bourne, McCall has delighted audiences since 1985 as the people’s hero who helps everyday citizens get justice. For viewers who love a good vigilante story, this guide will explain how and where to stream all The Equalizer movies and TV shows in order.

The franchise kicked off in 1985 with the TV series titled The Equalizer. The series saw Edward Woodward in the lead role of McCall, a retired and disillusioned covert operative, who puts out an ad urging anyone in need of help to call him. Across four seasons, viewers see McCall help people by standing up to bullies, straightening out unruly teenagers, confronting stalkers, locating missing people, or offering protection. Not only was he deadly, intelligent, and classy, but his story had a layer of realism as he helped ordinary people deal with relatable problems.

25 years after the show concluded, a new Equalizer arrived on the big screen. The Equalizer released in 2014, with Denzel Washington taking over as McCall alongside a star-studded cast including Chloë Grace Moretz, David Harbour, and Bill Pullman. It gave viewers a bit of McCall’s origin story, depicting how his quest to free a sex trafficking victim inspired him to help others. Meanwhile, Washington embodied the role of McCall perfectly with his stylish but deadly persona.

Washington rarely makes sequels to his films, but he made an exception for The Equalizer 2. The film follows a standard revenge plot as McCall seeks vengeance for the murder of his friend. It received mixed reviews since it didn’t differ much from the original or other revenge thrillers. Fortunately, the trilogy ended on a high note seven years later with The Equalizer 3. Arguably the best film in the franchise, it ramped up the stakes, thrills, and bloody action for a mesmerizing conclusion to Washington’s McCall story.

In between The Equalizer 2 and 3, the 1985 TV series was rebooted. However, this time, McCall is a woman. Queen Latifah shines as a single mother, Robyn McCall, who acts as a guardian angel to those in need. The show was renewed for a fifth season, with more possibly on the horizon due to its positive reception.

Since the movies and shows aren’t connected, the best order to watch the franchise is by release date. However, it’s not necessary to watch the 1985 and 2021 shows to understand the film trilogy. Here is where and how to watch The Equalizer movies and TV shows in release date order.

  • The 15 Best Emma Watson Movies Ranked (And Where To Watch Them)

The 15 Best Emma Watson Movies Ranked (And Where To Watch Them)

From Harry Potter to Disney to Little Women, Emma Watson has appeared in some of the biggest franchises and most beloved works ever created. She has played a vital role in bringing numerous bestselling young adult novels to life, as well as portrayed a Disney princess and appeared in several crime thrillers. While she is currently on a hiatus from acting, viewers still have a plethora of high-quality Watson films to dive into until she returns. This guide will rank Watson’s 15 best movies and reveal where viewers can stream them.

Of course, Watson’s name is practically synonymous with Harry Potter. She was just 10 years old and had never acted outside of school plays when she nabbed the coveted role of Hermione Granger in Warner Bros.’ film series adaptation of J. K. Rowling’s hit Harry Potter book series. Watson blew audiences away as she fully embodied the bookish and mature Granger in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone alongside Daniel Radcliffe’s Harry Potter and Rupert Grint’s Ron Weasley.

Watson devoted the first decade of her career to the 8-film series, which became the fourth highest-grossing film series in the world. The Harry Potter films received largely positive reviews and are easily among Watson’s best works. However, she quickly proved herself outside the Wizarding World as she followed the film series by starring alongside Logan Lehrman in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. She showed her skill at portraying mature roles as the film adaptation delicately handled relatable teen themes.

Harry Potter and The Perks of Being a Wallflower aren’t the only beloved novels Watson brought to life. She also starred as the oldest March sister, Meg, in the 2019 Oscar-nominated adaptation of Little Women from director Greta Gerwig. Women and girls have loved the novel for centuries, and Watson, along with Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Meryl Streep, and Laura Dern, gave it the beautiful and respectful reimagining it deserved.

Watson also became a Disney Princess in 2017 as she brought Belle to live-action in the magical Beauty and the Beast remake. Additionally, she has starred in a few hidden gems like Noah and My Week with Marilyn.

Read on to find where to watch Emma Watson’s 15 best movies, ranked by the quality of the films and the quality and popularity of her performance.

  • The 10 Best John Hughes Movies, Ranked and Where to Watch Them

The 10 Best John Hughes Movies, Ranked and Where to Watch Them

John Hughes is one of the most influential filmmakers of all time. Throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s, he created hit after hit after hit, whether it was by directing, writing, producing, or sometimes all three. If you want to discover his 10 best movies and where to stream them, check out our guide below.

Hughes first came to prominence thanks to the 1983 movie Vacation (which ranks #5 on the list). The movie was inspired by Hughes’ short story Vacation ‘58 and he also adapted his story into the screenplay. Centered around a family that goes on an epic (and disastrous) family road trip, the movie is undeniably hilarious…and also incredibly relatable.

As the years have gone on, its sequel Christmas Vacation has become even more beloved and takes the #2 spot on the list. The sequel was also based on one of Hughes’ short stories and he again was tasked with turning it into a screenplay, but this time around he also took on producing duties. In the 1989 film, the Griswolds attempt to put on the perfect Christmas celebration, and naturally, it all goes to hell. Christmas Vacation isn’t just funny, it’s also super relatable, which is why it has become a perennial holiday favorite.

And who can craft a John Hughes list without including his iconic teen movies like Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club? While both films obviously make the list, some might be surprised to see they don’t take the top spots. While both movies are truly iconic and memorable – the song “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” is probably playing in your head right now – they haven’t withstood the test of time as well as Hughes’ other films.

In the modern era and with the recognition society has had of privilege and oppression in recent years, parts of Hughes’ 1980s teen comedies can feel somewhat petty, with the characters sometimes creating a lot of drama over minute issues. While these films might have felt real and fresh in the ‘80s, nowadays they can feel slightly trivial. Regardless, both movies remain enjoyable watches and have rightfully earned their spot on the Top 10 list.

So, what film took the #1 spot? That would be the epic holiday classic Home Alone. Memorable, iconic, fun, funny, and filled with holiday cheer, Home Alone feels like a cartoon came to life. Despite centering on a child left home alone on Christmas while burglars break in (which could easily be a horror movie), thanks to Hughes’ excellent script, the movie instead turned into a hilarious cat-and-mouse chase between the young Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) and the bumbling duo, the “Wet Bandits”. Home Alone is absurd, but it’s also insanely entertaining and somehow fits perfectly with the madness of the Christmas season.

What other John Hughes movies made the top 10 list? Check out our guide below to discover the filmmaker’s 10 best movies and where to watch them.

  • How to Watch Dragon Ball In Order (and Where to Stream Them All Online)

How to Watch Dragon Ball In Order (and Where to Stream Them All Online)

Easily one of the most famous animes globally, the Dragon Ball franchise first debuted as a manga in 1984. The original anime premiered two years later in 1986 and since then has boomed into a global phenomenon. Check out our guide below to find out where to stream every Dragon Ball series in order.

Dragon Ball, the original anime, premiered in 1986 and ran until 1989, releasing 153 episodes. The show follows Goku, who at the start is a young boy with a monkey tail. He travels around the world trying to find the seven dragon balls that, when all are collected together, can grant someone one wish. Along his journey, he meets numerous foes and allies, all of whom want to find the dragon balls for their own reasons, like the Red Ribbon Army and Emperor Pilaf.

Picking up after the events of the original series, Dragon Ball Z aired from 1989-1996. Goku is now a young adult with a son of his own, Gohan. Once again, the galactic race to find the dragon balls ensues, but one major addition was added to the show’s storyline in DBZ. Goku discovers he’s actually part of an alien race known as the Saiyans and was originally sent to Earth to take over the planet. Being a Saiyan also allows him and his son to transform and become super Saiyans, which gives them super strength.

Another sequel series, Dragon Ball GT was released in 1996, airing for one season and concluding in 1997. This time around, Goku is turned back into a child and he’s forced to search the world for the black star dragon balls, otherwise the planet will be destroyed.

In 2015, Dragon Ball received its first new series in almost a decade with Dragon Ball Super. Running for 131 episodes until 2018, the series wasn’t a sequel, and instead took place concurrently with DBZ. Finally, in 2018 the most recent Dragon Ball series premiered, Super Dragon Ball Heroes. This series is a bit different because it’s a web-only show that doesn’t air on television. It takes place in a non-canonical universe that mainly serves as a promotional element for the Heroes card and video game series. However, it has received mostly positive reviews from fans.

Check out our guide below to see where you can watch all the Dragon Ball series in chronological order.

  • How To Watch All the Kung Fu Panda Movies in Order

How To Watch All the Kung Fu Panda Movies in Order

The Kung Fu Panda franchise expanded in 2024 with the release of Kung Fu Panda 4, the first film installment in over eight years. Jack Black returned to one of his most iconic roles ever as Po the Dragon Master alongside various fan favorites and new cast members like Awkwafina, Ke Huy Quan, and Viola Davis. For those wishing to catch up with the entire franchise, this guide will explain how and where to stream all the Kung Fu Panda movies in order using popular services like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Max and much more!

Kung Fu Panda’s success isn’t surprising, as there’s nothing quite like it. Given their similar premises, it’s believed that the film series was inspired by the DreamWorks video game T'ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger. The original Kung Fu Panda exhibited the company’s most advanced animation and is brimming with nods to Chinese culture that display the extensive research that went into production.

The movie contained references to Chinese shadow puppetry and mythology. Plus, the Furious Five, voiced by powerhouses Jackie Chan, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogan, and David Cross, represent the Five Animals Southern styles of Chinese martial arts. The appreciation for Chinese culture, stunning animation, star power, and mythological storyline made Kung Fu Panda a hit both in China and the U.S.

It’s no surprise that Kung Fu Panda 2 quickly followed and saw Po returning as the unlikely kung fu master protecting the Valley alongside the Furious Five and Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman). The plot didn’t vary much from the original. Still, humor, martial arts action, and top-notch performance from the returning cast members allowed the sequel to match the original's success, crossing the $600 million milestone at the box office and nabbing an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.

DreamWorks took their time bringing Kung Fu Panda 3 to the screen, releasing it in 2016. Although the film failed to receive an Oscar nomination or surpass $600 million at the box office, it was just as well received critically as the other films.

After eight years, Kung Fu Panda 4 released to the excitement of loyal fans. It went on to earn more than its predecessor, grossing over $544 million globally.

Read on to learn where to stream all the Kung Fu Panda movies in order. Given that the film series’ chronological and release date order is the same, there’s only one viewing order. 10 Best Zendaya Movies and TV Shows Ranked (And Where To Watch Them)

Zendaya has quickly become one of the top young actresses in Hollywood. She has headed two major franchises, Dune and the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man trilogy, and has appeared in a number of other award-winning TV shows and movies. She dominated 2024 after starring in the highly-anticipated sequel Dune: Part Two and Luca Guadagnino's Challengers. Read on to discover ten of the best Zendaya movies and TV shows and find out where to stream every title using popular services like Max, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and more!

Zendaya’s career began with a few modeling, singing, and dancing gigs as a child. However, her big break came with the hit Disney Channel original series Shake It Up. She nabbed the lead role of Rocky Blue and starred opposite Bella Thorne in the fun, dance-themed sitcom. It became one of Disney Channel’s highest-rated series and appealed to adults and kids. After this, Zendaya got a solo Disney series, K. C. Undercover, and a movie, Zapped.

Her acting was above average for Disney sitcoms, which is why she flourished when she was able to show her full range as an adult actor. Zendaya’s first big blockbuster was Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which she portrayed M. J. alongside Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. The film was a massive critical and commercial success, leading Zendaya to reprise her role for two equally successful sequels.

In 2019, Zendaya debuted in what is undeniably her best TV show: Euphoria. She proved once and for all that she was more than a Disney or MCU actor, putting everything into the complex role of Rue Bennett, a young woman recovering from substance abuse. Her role led to her becoming the youngest actress in history to win Best Actress in a Drama twice at the Emmys.

In 2021, she appeared as Chani in Denis Villeneuve's big-budget Dune adaptation. Not only was Dune a visually spectacular and faithful sci-fi epic, but Zendaya held her own among several A-list actors, including Timothée Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, and Rebecca Ferguson. Meanwhile, she returned to the role with Dune: Part Two, adding more depth to Chani in the arguably bigger and better sequel. In the same year as her appearance in Dune: Part Two, she produced and starred alongside Josh O'Connor and Mike Faist in the sexy tennis-drama Challengers.

But Nolan has also directed 11 other feature films, all of which are must-watches. If you want to find out where to stream all of his movies in order, check out our guide below.

Nolan’s directorial debut was the indie film Following. The crime thriller centers on a young author who is desperate for inspiration so he begins following strangers to spy on their lives. Before long, he finds himself in the middle of a murderous crime scheme between a mob boss and his lover.

Nolan’s next movie was Memento, an indie film that turned into a sleeper hit and ultimately launched the director’s career. Memento follows a man with amnesia who tries to track down his wife’s murderer. After scoring rave reviews at film festivals around the world, Memento earned Nolan his first-ever Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay.

Throughout the 2000s, Nolan made other successful films like Insomnia and The Prestige, but what really thrust him into the spotlight was his Dark Knight trilogy. After Batman had received a series of zany, comic book-like movies throughout the ‘90s, Nolan’s films were dark, gritty, and showed the true underbelly of Gotham City. The real highlight of the series was The Dark Knight, which featured Heath Ledger’s Oscar-winning performance as the Joker.

At the time of its release in 2009, The Dark Knight became the fourth highest-grossing movie ever, earning over a billion dollars at the box office. The following year, Nolan directed another massive hit, Inception. Starring an ensemble cast that included Leonardo DiCaprio, Inception went on to be nominated for 8 Oscars. It would remain Nolan’s most Oscar-nominated film until his epic 2023 hit Oppenheimer.

His historical biopic tells the story of the creation, deployment, and aftermath of the atomic bomb and the lasting impacts it had on physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who oversaw the bomb’s development. The movie went on to score a massive 13 Oscar nominations, making it one of the most-nominated films in history. It ultimately won a whopping seven awards including Best Picture and Best Director for Nolan. Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. additionally won their respective acting awards.

True Nolan fans might also want to watch Man of Steel. Though Nolan didn’t direct the movie, he did help out with writing and producing duties.

  • Where to Watch Every Pokemon Movie, including Detective Pikachu, In Order

Where to Watch Every Pokemon Movie, including Detective Pikachu, In Order

In 1996, Pokemon (then called Pocket Monsters) was first released in Japan for the Game Boy. By 1998 the games had already turned into a runaway phenomenon that took Japan by storm. The franchise expanded with a Pokémon anime series, a comic book series, more video games, and even a movie. By the time Pokemon was released globally later that year, the franchise was already primed to be a worldwide success. If you want to find where to watch every single Pokemon movie, check out our guide below to discover where to watch every movie in the franchise in order.

    How many Pokemon movies exist?

While Pokemon is most famous for its game series and many have nostalgic memories of watching the original series as kids, Pokemon has also released a whopping 25 movies. Most influential was Pokemon: The First Movie, which premiered in Japan in 1998 and in North America the following year. The movie was a smash hit, grossing over $163 million at the box office. After that, a few more Pokemon movies received wide releases globally like Pokemon the Movie 2000 (which introduced the second generation of Pokemon) and Pokemon 3: The Movie.

Since then, the franchise’s movies have had a weird and confusing history. All the major movies got theatrical releases in Japan, but globally things got more odd. Some sequels got a limited theatrical release…sometimes only premiering in a handful of theaters. Some went straight to DVD, and before the era of streaming, some didn’t get any kind of global release until a few years after the movie originally premiered in Japan.

It wouldn’t be until almost 15 years after Pokemon 3 that global audiences would receive another wide-released Pokemon movie with Detective Pikachu in 2019. Starring Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu, the movie was a hilarious and unique take on the franchise and became the highest-grossing Pokemon movie of all time, scoring more than $433 million at the box office.

Where can I watch all Pokémon in order?

If you’re someone who has only seen the thematically released Pokemon movies, you’re missing out on tons of excellent films that really help build the story and lore of the Pokemon universe. Check out our guide below to find out where to stream every Pokemon movie in order.

For those looking to acquaint themselves with Jordan’s impressive body of work, read ahead to find out his ten best films and where to stream them.

Jordan started working as a child model in the industry before moving on to guest appearances and minor roles in soap operas and procedural dramas like All My Children and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He made his cinematic breakthrough starring in Fruitvale Station, which marked his first movie with director Ryan Coogler and one of his best films to date. The film is based on the tragic true story of Oscar Grant, with Jordan taking on the lead role alongside co-stars Octavia Spencer, Kevin Durand, and Chad Michael Murray.

Not only would the film kickstart Jordan’s career, but it would also be the beginning of a long and fruitful working relationship with Coogler. By 2015, director Coogler had tapped him to star opposite Sylvester Stallone as Adonis “Donnie” Creed in the Rocky spinoff, Creed. All three critically and commercially successful films in the Creed series are among Jordan’s best work. Three years after Creed, he would work with Coogler again for arguably the best movie of his career: Black Panther.

The film is the only MCU movie to receive a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars, with Jordan complimenting Chadwick Boseman’s iconic portrayal of T’Challa with his nuanced performance as Erik Killmonger. He would reprise his role for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever alongside Angela Bassett and Letitia Wright. Throughout his career, he has also starred in a few hidden gems like Just Mercy and Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox.

Here are Michael B. Jordan’s ten best roles, ranked by his performance and the quality of the film, as well as where to watch them.

  • The 15 Best Jackie Chan Movies Ranked (And Where To Watch Them)

The 15 Best Jackie Chan Movies Ranked (And Where To Watch Them)

Jackie Chan is easily one of Hollywood's most recognizable and successful actors, largely credited with popularizing the martial arts comedy genre and having appeared in well over 100 movies.  He is set to join Ralph Macchio and Ben Wang for Sony’s new Karate Kid movie, reprising his iconic role as Mr. Han for the first time in over 14 years. For those wishing to acquaint themselves with more of Chan’s work before his new movie, this guide will rank his 15 best films and demonstrate where to stream them.

Chan’s career is a bit difficult to keep up with, considering he frequently moves between the U.S. and Hong Kong film industries. Chan’s first big break came with Drunken Master, often considered a significant milestone in the Kung Fu comedy genre and popularization of Zui Quan. It quickly became one of the most successful Hong Kong movies of 1978 and is easily Chan’s best and most groundbreaking role.

He quickly followed up Drunken Master with several top-notch hits, including the Police Story series, Operation Condor, and Drunken Master II. He became one of the most popular actors in Asia before America, mainly because his initial attempts at breaking into Hollywood had proved futile. However, Chan decided to give Hollywood another shot and firmly solidified his stardom among U.S. audiences with his role in the buddy cop comedy Rush Hour alongside Chris Tucker.

Chan continued making a name for himself in the buddy cop genre, joining Owen Wilson for the hilarious Shanghai Noon and its satisfactory sequel Shanghai Knights. He also reprised the role that made him a household name in America with Rush Hour 2. However, he soon proved he didn’t have to be on the screen or performing his iconic stunts to draw in audiences. Chan voiced Master Monkey in the well-received Kung Fu Panda film series, starring alongside a star-studded cast including Angelina Jolie, Jack Black, Lucy Liu, James Hong, and Seth Rogen.

In 2010, he portrayed Mr. Han in The Karate Kid. While the film received mixed reviews, Chan is the only actor ever given the privilege of becoming another iteration of Pat Morita’s Mr. Miyagi, and he did a phenomenal job. Although his roles in America have slowed down recently, that did not stop him from providing the voice of Splinter in one of 2023’s best movies, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

For those looking for more of Jackie Chan’s top works, here is where to watch his 15 best films ranked by quality, reception, and how iconic Chan’s performance was.

  • The Best Al Pacino Movies Ranked and Where To Watch Them

The Best Al Pacino Movies Ranked and Where To Watch Them

Al Pacino is often considered one of the best actors of all time. He has well over 50 acting credits to his name, as well as nine Oscar nominations and a staggering 19 Golden Globe nominations. After appearing in his third film, The Godfather, he sprung to international stardom and has continued producing award-winning performances. For those wishing to dive into his film career, this guide will demonstrate where to watch his 15 must-see roles.

Of course, ranking Pacino’s movies is difficult when he boasts over 50 performances, including numerous hidden gems and critically acclaimed films. However, there’s little debate that The Godfather stands apart as his very best. He nabbed the role of Michael Corleone when he was still an unknown actor in Hollywood and dazzled audiences with one of the best performances of a hero’s fall into villainy. Pacino and Marlon Brando contributed significantly to The Godfather’s status as a masterpiece.

Meanwhile, The Godfather II is a close second to the original movie. It became the first sequel to receive an Oscar nomination for Best Picture and is sometimes even considered better than its predecessor due to the impeccable screenwriting and performances from Pacino and Robert De Niro.

Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, The Insider, and Scent of a Woman aren’t far behind. Serpico proved Pacino could play the good guy just as well as a mob boss, and the picture has remained strikingly relevant in recent times with its commentary on the police force. Meanwhile, Dog Day Afternoon and Scent of a Woman show Pacino’s acting range as he proves adept at two very different dramas. He earned his first and only Oscar win for starring opposite Chris O’Donnell in Scent of a Woman and perfectly portraying the retired and hopeless Lt. Col. Frank Slade.

There are also several lesser-known or underrated films that Pacino excelled in, such as …And Justice for All, Scarface, and Donnie Brasco. There is also The Devil’s Advocate, which he starred in alongside Keanu Reeves.

Discover more of Al Pacino’s movies with this list of his 15 best movies, ranked by his performance and the film’s quality.

Sydney Sweeney’s rise to prominence started with the hit miniseries Sharp Objects. Based on the novel by Gillian Flynn, the show follows journalist Camille Preaker (Amy Adams) who returns to her rural hometown to investigate the murder of two girls. In the show, Sweeney played Camille’s roommate at a psychiatric hospital during flashback sequences. Sharp Objects received a slew of Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

The following year, Sweeney starred in the high school drama Euphoria, playing the troubled Cassie Howard. The TV show follows the lives of a group of high schoolers as they experiment with sex and drugs, make mistakes, and try to find themselves. Euphoria became an instant hit and smashed ratings records, becoming the second most-watched HBO show of all time, only behind Game of Thrones. Sweeney even landed an Emmy nomination for her role.

Sweeney’s next Emmy nomination came in 2021 when she starred in HBO’s hit miniseries, The White Lotus - which also ranks #1 on our list as Sweeney’s best role to date. The show followed the interconnected lives of a group of guests and employees at a luxurious Hawaiian resort. The show touched on class struggle, racial tension, and the selfish nature that consumes many people. The result was a show that was bitingly funny while also being unapologetically real and eye-opening. Sweeney wasn’t the only cast member to earn an Emmy nomination for the TV show. In fact, seven of Sweeney’s co-stars received nominations, with Jennifer Coolidge winning an award.

Sweeney has starred in numerous hit movies as well. Taking the #4 spot on this list is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood where Sweeney played Snake, the youngest “Manson girl” to follow Charles Manson. The film depicted a parallel universe where Sharon Tate and her friends weren’t murdered by the Manson Family and instead got their revenge.

Sweeney also starred in the rom-com Anyone But You, about two ex-lovers who are forced to pretend to be a couple at a friend’s wedding in Australia, and most recently starred alongside Dakota Johnson in the superhero film, Madame Web.

  • Every Denis Villeneuve Movie, Ranked and Where To Watch Them

Every Denis Villeneuve Movie, Ranked and Where To Watch Them

Denis Villeneuve has made a name for himself as one of the most compelling directors of our time. He has often been compared to Christopher Nolan for his innovative style and daring vision. His success in Canada’s film industry soon propelled him onto the international stage. It resulted in him being entrusted with some of the most influential sci-fi franchises of all time, including the Timothée Chalamet-led Dune reboot. Following the release and success of Villeneuve's Dune: Part Two, viewers may wish to acquaint themselves with more of his masterpieces. This guide will rank each of Villeneuve’s films and detail where to watch them.

Ranking Villeneuve’s movies is no easy task, considering not a single one of his movies has ever failed critically. Still, some of his films stand out more than others, particularly Arrival. The Amy Adams-led film received universal acclaim as a sci-fi movie that few others parallel in sophistication. Even real-life linguistic experts who watched the movie praised the depth and accuracy in depicting communication with extraterrestrials. It was the kind of challenging movie that demanded to be thought about rather than merely seen.

Sicario, Dune, Dune: Part Two, and Blade Runner 2049 aren’t far behind Arrival. Between the performances of Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, and Josh Brolin and Villeneuve’s masterful directing, Sicario is a dark, gritty, intense, and profoundly moving commentary on the border drug war. Meanwhile, with Dune, the director adapted a sprawling work of literature often considered inadaptable. Then, he managed to produce a sequel that arguably eclipsed the original with even higher stakes, greater character development, and stunning cinematography. At the same time, Blade Runner 2049 proved to be a worthy successor despite facing the pressure of being a sequel to a cult classic.

Some of Villeneuve’s lesser-known films, such as Prisoners, are also among his very best. Although it didn’t receive as much fanfare as his sci-fi epics, the Hugh Jackman-led movie is a haunting and unforgettable story about how far a parent will go to receive justice for a missing child. Incendies is another hidden gem from the director.

Although there are several standouts among his films, nearly all of Villeneuve’s works are worth a watch. His beautiful style and skill in creating thrilling and visually appealing movies that tackle sophisticated themes make them a must-see. Here are all 12 of Villeneuve’s films ranked based on quality and recognition and where to watch them.

If you want to watch more of Johnson’s hit movies, check out our guide below to discover her 10 best films and where to watch them.

But her first notable role came in 2010 with The Social Network, which told the story of Facebook’s tumultuous creation and controversial rise on Harvard’s campus.

The movie was based on the bestselling 2011 novel and centered around the erotic and kinky sexual relationship between a business mogul and a college student. The movie constantly forced Johnson’s character to ask what was more important, true love or sexual gratification.

The film (and book) were controversial but incredibly popular, with the movie grossing more than $569 million at the box office. Johnson would go on to star in two sequels, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, both becoming box office hits as well.

But Johnson’s most acclaimed film to date (and also the #1 movie on our list) is 2018’s Suspiria. A remake of the 1977 classic, the film follows an American girl named Susie (Johnson) who is admitted to a prestigious dance academy in West Berlin. But it soon becomes clear the school is run by a coven of witches who are willing to do anything and kill anyone to retain power.

How to Watch Every Dune Movie & TV Show – A Complete Streaming Guide

If you’re among the many fans who have an appetite for the spice, we’ve got you covered with a complete steaming guide to Dune movies and TV shows. Here you’ll find where to stream every adaptation of Frank Herbert's iconic Dune franchise, including streaming options on popular services such as Netflix, Prime Video and Max.

Frank Herbert's Dune is one of the most influential science fiction stories of all time, serving as inspiration for sci-fi franchises like Star Wars, Alien, Blade Runner and Mad Max. There are 4 Dune movies (if you include the documentary about Jodorowsky’s Dune) and 2 TV shows. Here's how to watch them all.

How to watch Denis Villeneuve's Dune film series

    • Dune: Part One (2021)
    • Dune: Part Two (2024)
    • Dune: Part Three (TBC)

In 2021, visionary director Denis Villeneuve took audiences back to Arrakis with Dune: Part One, starring Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Zendaya as Chani, and Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica. Denis Villeneuve’s two-part adaptation offers the perfect introduction to Dune. Titled Dune: Part One (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024), both films have been praised for their faithful adaptation of Frank Herbert’s original novel. The franchise is also expected to have a third installment in the distant future, with Villeneuve reportedly set to adapt Frank Herbert’s Dune: Messiah as Dune: Part Three.

    David Lynch's Dune

    • Dune (1984)

While Villeneuve’s contemporary series is by far the most popular adaptation of the novel, it is not the first time Paul Atreides could be seen on the big screen. In 1984, surrealist filmmaker David Lynch directed a divisive adaptation for Universal Pictures. Despite an off-the-wall, otherworldly adventure, the film did not receive critical acclaim nor commercial success –grossing $30.9 million from a $40 million budget. David Lynch has since shared his own distain for the film, claiming he was not given final cut of the movie. Despite this, the movie starring Kyle MacLachlan is still worth watching online.

How to watch Dune TV shows in release order

    • Frank Herbert's Dune (2001)
    • Frank Herbert's Children of Dune (2003)
    • Dune: Prophecy (2024)

You can also enjoy the Dune franchise on the small screen. With a $20 million budget, the three-part mini-series Frank Herbert’s Dune aired in 2001 on the Sci Fi Channel. It was followed up by Frank Herbert’s Children of Dune in 2003, adapting the novel of the same name. An upcoming TV show based on Sisterhood of Dune, Dune: Prophecy, is set to premiere on Max in the Fall of 2024.

    Dune documentaries

    • Jodorowsky’s Dune

While it’s not technically an adaptation of the franchise, Jodorowsky’s Dune is a must-see documentary for all science fiction fans. It documents Chilean filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky’s ambitious plan to adapt the novel in 1974. However, this was no ordinary production – the acclaimed director plotted a psychedelic space epic unlike anything audiences would have seen before. His plans included casting Salvador Dalí as Emperor Shaddam IV, Orson Welles as Baron Harkonnen, and a 3000-page storyboard by Jean "Moebius" Giraud. While we’ll never see Jodorowsky’s true vision for Dune in theaters, this documentary serves as the next best thing.

Where can I watch Dune movies online?

  • How To Watch The Walking Dead Shows in Order (And Where To Watch Them)

How To Watch The Walking Dead Shows in Order (And Where To Watch Them)

Although AMC’s original The Walking Dead series concluded in 2022, the franchise is poised to continue expanding for the foreseeable future with an exciting slate of spinoff series. The 2024 spinoff series, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, marked the highly-anticipated return of fan favorite Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). For fans of this long-lasting franchise, this guide will demonstrate how and where to watch The Walking Dead franchise in order.

The Walking Dead was originally a comic book series by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore. By 2010, AMC had secured the television rights to the story and released the show’s pilot episode. The big-budget zombie apocalypse show was an instant hit and only continued to gain popularity as it expanded its universe, cast, and character development.

However, the franchise became complicated for viewers to watch chronologically quite early on. This is because the companion series Fear the Walking Dead premiered in 2015 and ran alongside the original series. While the first three seasons serve as prequels to The Walking Dead, the remaining seasons run concurrent to the original. Several actors even switched between series from 2015 to 2022.

By the time The Walking Dead concluded, two more spinoffs, The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Tales of the Walking Dead, had already premiered. Meanwhile, its conclusion opened the door for even more series as several long-standing cast members and fan favorites were granted solo series.

The Walking Dead franchise in chronological order

Watching in chronological order means there will be a lot of going back and forth between shows instead of watching them one at a time. Chronological order might give viewers a more comprehensive view of the franchise, but it’s not necessary as the franchise can be understood when watching by release date, which results in a bit less back-and-forth.

Still, if you’re up for the challenge, the chronological order is:

    • Fear the Walking Dead (seasons 1 - 3)
    • The Walking Dead (seasons 1 - 8)
    • Fear the Walking Dead (season 4)
    • Tales of the Walking Dead
    • The Walking Dead (season 9)
    • Fear The Walking Dead (season 5)
    • The Walking Dead (season 10)
    • The Walking Dead: World Beyond
    • Fear the Walking Dead (season 6)
    • The Walking Dead (season 11)
    • Fear the Walking Dead (seasons 7 - 8)
    • The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon
    • The Walking Dead: Dead City

The Walking Dead franchise in release order

However, newcomers to the franchise are recommended to watch every TV show and season by the release date order outlined below.

Below you’ll find every TV show and streaming offers for The Walking Dead and where to watch them online.

  • How To Watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movies in Order

How To Watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movies in Order

After a brief hiatus from movies and TV, everyone’s favorite turtles returned to the big screen with a bang in Seth Rogen’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. The movie was an instant hit and has been labeled one of the best ever 'TMNT' movies. It was a refreshing reboot that reminded the world just how much we love the four mutant turtles and Master Splinter. A sequel and new animated TV series are on the way, making now the perfect time for viewers to reacquaint themselves with the turtles. This streaming guide will help you learn how and where to watch all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies in order.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles started out as a lesser-known comic book, but as its popularity surged, it received an animated TV series and a movie in 1990. Despite many changes to the story, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was based on the earliest comic books and marked the franchise's first live-action adaptation. With Turtlemania in the air, audiences flocked to the movie theaters and it quickly became the highest-grossing indie film of all time.

Two sequels followed, and though critical reception didn’t improve, the movies proved commercially successful. Unfortunately, the turtles disappeared from the big screen after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III. It would be 14 years before they returned in TMNT – which marked the first film in the franchise to be computer animated. TMNT never received a sequel as Nickelodeon swooped in and acquired the franchise for $60 million in 2009.

Nickelodeon decided to bring the turtles back in live action with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and its sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Unfortunately, the first movie was panned by critics, and the second was a box office flop. As a result, the network began looking for someone new to write the next TMNT franchise, ultimately settling on the popular comedian Seth Rogen. He went on to prove that animation was the way to go with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which proved a box office success despite a speedy streaming release.

Where can I watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies online?

Most Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans will want to watch the franchise in release date order. This will allow you to see the turtles’ evolution over the past three decades, from live action puppetry in 1990 to the groundbreaking animation in Mutant Mayhem. Here’s how and where to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies in release date order and where to stream them online.

  • Every Quentin Tarantino Movie, Ranked and Where to Watch Them

Every Quentin Tarantino Movie, Ranked and Where to Watch Them

Quentin Tarantino is one of the most prominent directors of the modern era. So far, he’s directed 10 films and has an 11th (and allegedly final) film in production with Brad Pitt called The Movie Critic. If you want to brush up on his filmography before then, check out our guide below ranking all 10 of Tarantino’s films and revealing where to watch them.

Picking a #1 Tarantino movie is a challenging task. The filmmaker has been nominated for eight Oscars and almost every single film he releases becomes a blockbuster hit. But, some still manage to stand out above the others. Taking the #1 spot on the list is Pulp Fiction. The movie centered around multiple interweaving stories, all filled with punchy dialogue, lots of violence (which Tarantino has become known for), and a surprising amount of emotional weight that helped transform Pulp Fiction into more than just another crime drama.

Also ranking high on the list is Kill Bill Vol. 1, which comes in at #2. The movie follows an assassin who seeks revenge after her former gang, the Vipers, attempts to murder her on her wedding day. With a fantastic cast that included Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, and Vivica A. Fox, the movie was loaded with absolutely fantastic performances. That, paired with its excellent fight scenes that blended tropes from samurai movies and spaghetti westerns, turned Kill Bill into an incredibly compelling and distinctive film. While there’s also a Vol. 2, both films were originally one script and were actually made at the same time.

Finishing off the Top 3 is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tarantino’s 2019 film that reimagined a world where the Manson Family didn’t kill Sharon Tate and her friends, but instead were killed themselves. And while that was the main overarching story, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was also so much deeper. It depicted a bygone era of Hollywood and the way it rapidly changed in the late 60s. The dichotomy of a film that both fondly remembered Hollywood’s Golden Age while also portraying the grisly madness of the Manson Family was shocking and jarring, yet captivating and exciting. To date, it’s the only Tarantino film to ever receive a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars.

Discover the rest of Tarantino’s movies in our guide below. From Death Proof to Reservoir Dogs, here are all 10 of Quentin Tarantino’s movies, ranked, and where to watch them.

  • From Lightyear to Toy Story 4, Here’s Where to Watch Every Toy Story Movie in Order

From Lightyear to Toy Story 4, Here’s Where to Watch Every Toy Story Movie in Order

Toy Story is one of the most beloved film franchises in Hollywood history and one of the highest-grossing animated series ever, with a total box office haul of over $3.3 billion. Check out our guide below to find out where to watch all the Toy Story movies and specials in order!

The good news for fans is that, in general, the Toy Story series is pretty straightforward and there isn’t too much jumping around to do within the timeline. There are a few exceptions though. For example, the first film in the Toy Story series is technically the spin-off, Lightyear.

At the start of the film, a message appears on-screen reading, “In 1995, a boy named Andy got a Buzz Lightyear toy for his birthday. It was from his favorite movie… This is that movie.” So, while Lightyear is much different from other Toy Story films and has a sci-fi story that takes place in outer space, it is connected to the Toy Story universe and takes place before anything else since it’s the movie that inspires Andy to get his Buzz Lightyear action figure.

From there, the series picks up with the first Toy Story film, which gave everyone iconic moments like “There’s a snake in my boot!” and the hilariously creepy cult of little green alien toys who idolize “The Claw”, not realizing they’re inside an arcade game.

Then comes Toy Story 2, where the group meets cowgirl Jessie after Woody is stolen by a greedy toy collector and finds himself in Al’s Toy Barn. Toy Story 2 was especially notable for being much more heart-wrenching and emotional than the original, with Jessie’s origin story being downright tragic. The series has since become known for its ability to bring on both the laughs and the tears with its storytelling.

Next up is Toy Story 3. This time around the gang believes that Andy is trying to throw them away, so to save themselves they hop in a donation box instead. The toys end up in the Sunnyside Daycare center where they meet a whole new group of toys…many of whom have been played with a little too much. This time, the enemy was the nefarious Lots-o’-Huggin’ bear, who was bitter after being replaced by his owner.

The third film had one notable missing character… Bo Peep. Though Peep did return for Toy Story 4, many wondered what happened to her between the second and fourth films. Luckily, Disney+ debuted the short film Lamp Life, which shows what Peep was up to during her hiatus.

Between the third and fourth films, the Toy Story crew also received two television specials, the Halloween-themed Toy Story of Terror, where the toys find themselves in a haunted motel, and Toy Story That Time Forgot, where the gang finds themselves on a playdate with other toys…and everything goes hilariously wrong.

The latest installment in the franchise is 2019’s Toy Story 4. Now living with their new owner Bonnie, the gang meets a new toy… Forky, who is a makeshift toy created from a plastic spork. Throughout the movie, Forky can’t decide if he’s a toy or just trash, and it’s up to Woody and the others to convince him that he’s worthwhile and meaningful just the way he is.

Where can I watch all the Toy Story movies online?

With a fifth Toy Story film on the way, now is the perfect time to catch up on the franchise. Check out our guide below to find out where to stream all the Toy Story movies in order!

But a drug addiction was hindering Downey Jr.’s career and throughout the ‘90s and early 2000s he was arrested and jailed numerous times for drug-related offenses. Because of this, the actor spent years either starring in small indie films or holding only minor parts in mainstream movies.

His return to prominence is usually cited as 2006’s A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints. The indie film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and focused on a young man’s life growing up in New York’s borough of Queens. Thanks to compelling performances, the movie was a hit at Sundance and went on to be nominated for numerous awards.

From there, Downey Jr.’s career quickly skyrocketed. The following year he starred in the serial killer thriller Zodiac, and in 2008 he became one of the biggest names in Hollywood. Throughout the ‘80s, Schwarzenegger continued starring in mega-hit blockbusters, including portraying the famed robotic killing machine in The Terminator. He also starred in films like Commando and Predator, where he fought off an alien hunter in the jungles of Central America.

Both The Terminator and Predator became massive hits and in 1991, Schwarzenegger returned as the T-800 Terminator in James Cameron’s epic, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This time around, the T-800 robot isn’t sent to kill, and instead, he’s tasked with saving John Connor. T2 didn’t just go on to be considered better than the first, it’s also seen as one of the best action movies of the whole decade.

  • How To Watch the Rocky Films and Spinoffs in Order (And Where To Watch Them)

How To Watch the Rocky Films and Spinoffs in Order (And Where To Watch Them)

Rocky was released in 1976, marking the beginning of the eponymous film series. That movie would eventually grow into a sprawling media franchise consisting of a six-movie series, a spinoff trilogy, and several TV shows and short films. Meanwhile, the series remains a timeless classic and cultural phenomenon. It’s arguably one of the most quotable film series with the most widely recognized theme song and has proven the enduring power of a solid underdog story. If you’re interested in all the hype around Rocky, this guide will help you know how to watch them in order and where to watch them.

Sylvester Stallone wrote Rocky’s script while he was a struggling actor in Hollywood and was adamant about starring in the titular role. It was already quite a feat that he got his 90-page draft, which he wrote in three days, to interest studios. One can imagine how much more difficult it was to convince a studio to cast a virtually unknown actor in a lead role. However, United Artists eventually agreed to his conditions, and Rocky was born.

The movie found the perfect formula for a sports drama with its fantastic script, quotable dialogue, catchy tunes, and resonating story. It is considered one of the most influential films ever, inspiring countless other films and fundamentally changing the sports genre. Hence, it’s not surprising that Rocky II quickly followed in 1979 and proved a critical and commercial success. Unfortunately, by Rocky III, the necessity of more Rocky films was questioned. Still, even though critic reception began declining at this point, most of the following sequels were commercial successes. It almost seemed like as long as Rocky films were made, audiences would turn up to watch them.

Despite declining interest, the film series ended on a high note with 2006’s Rocky Balboa, which came the closest to challenging the original film’s status as the best in the series. Although it marked the last film in the original series, its success proved that modernized Rocky stories still had appeal. A decade later, the franchise was revived with the Creed spin-off series.

Watching the Rocky movies in order is relatively simple now that they have arrived on streaming. Additionally, since each film was already released chronologically, there’s no difference between watching by release date or chronological order. Here’s how to watch the Rocky films in order.

  • Where to watch the 15 best Seth Rogen TV shows and movies

Where to watch the 15 best Seth Rogen TV shows and movies

Are you a Superbad fan? Or maybe you loved the Emmy-winning miniseries Pam & Tommy? Whether you love Seth Rogen for his comedic or dramatic roles, check out our guide below to discover the actor’s 15 best movies and series – and where to stream them.

For many years, Seth Rogen was best known for his starring roles in Judd Apatow comedies like Knocked Up and Pineapple Express. But the two’s working relationship actually goes back to Rogen’s very first major role – the cult favorite series Freaks and Geeks, which ranks #5 on our list. The show followed two siblings in high school and their respective groups of friends. Thanks to great characters and tons of relatability, the show developed a loyal fanbase that has only grown larger throughout the years.

And while Rogen may still be known by many fans for his stoner comedies, he’s also starred in a wide variety of unique movies with captivating stories, like the #2 movie on the list, 2017’s The Disaster Artist. Based on the memoir of the same name by Greg Sestero, the movie told the true story of the tumultuous (and hilarious) production of the infamous cult film, The Room. In the movie, Rogen plays the film’s script supervisor…who is the only person on set who actually knows how to make a movie.

Another Rogen film that perfectly blends humor with a gripping story is the #1 movie on the list, 50/50. In the film, Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt play best friends whose lives are turned upside down when Gordon-Levitt’s character gets diagnosed with cancer. The movie had moments that were hilarious and others that were heartbreaking, proving that Rogen could do more than just raucous stoner comedies.

Since then, he’s continued taking on a wide range of interesting roles in comedies and dramas. He played Steve Wozniak in the Oscar-nominated biopic Steve Jobs, voiced Donkey Kong in The Super Mario Bros. Movie (which became one of 2023’s highest-grossing films), and Rogen even earned himself an Emmy and Golden Globe nomination for his role in Pam & Tommy, which centered on the relationship between Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

If you want to discover more of Seth Rogen’s best roles, check out our guide below showing his 15 best movies and series – and where to watch them.

How to watch Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings franchise in release order

Taking eight years to film, Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy began with the release of The Fellowship of the Ring in 2001, followed by The Two Towers in 2002, and Return of the King in 2003. In a rare feat for a cinematic trilogy, each film is beloved by fans while also receiving critical acclaim.

Despite The Hobbit being only one 320-page book, a three-part adaptation began in 2012 with An Unexpected Journey, followed by The Desolation of Smaug in 2013 and The Battle of the Five Armies in 2014. In comparison to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit trilogy was poorly received despite the return of Ian McKellen as Gandalf and positive reviews for Martin Freeman’s performance as Bilbo Baggins.

How to watch Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings franchise in chronological order

    • The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

    • The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

    • The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

    • The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

    • The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

If you want to watch the Lord of the Rings franchise in chronological order, you simply need to watch the Hobbit trilogy, followed by the Lord of the Rings trilogy. This means you’ll watch the adventures of Bilbo Baggins for three movies before following the adventures of his cousin and adoptive heir, Frodo Baggins.

How to watch The Lord of the Rings trilogy (extended editions) in order

Many fans won’t have seen the theatrical versions of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy for several years. This is because there are now extended editions of each movie, adding an additional 125 minutes to the trilogy’s runtime. The Lord of the Rings’ extended editions are considered by many fans to be superior to the theatrical release, so you may want to consider watching these versions instead – even if it’s your first viewing. They were overseen by Peter Jackson and offer a more in-depth adaptation that’s perfect for streaming.

  • Kristen Stewart's 10 Best Movies, Ranked & Where to Watch Them

Kristen Stewart's 10 Best Movies, Ranked & Where to Watch Them

Queen of the teen vampire craze, Oscar-nominated actress, indie starlet, and an absolute queer icon, Kristen Stewart has had quite the acting career. Check out our guide below to discover her 10 best movies and where to stream them.

Though Stewart’s fame really took off in 2008 with the premiere of Twilight, her acting career actually began almost a decade prior. In fact, her first major role - 2002’s Panic Room - takes the #3 spot on our list. In the film, Stewart co-starred alongside Jodie Foster as a mother and daughter whose Manhattan brownstone gets broken into, forcing them to take shelter in their panic room. With fantastic performances and tons of tension, the movie is an excellent invasion thriller.

But the #1 movie on the list is Spencer, where Stewart portrayed Princess Diana in the months leading up to her separation from Prince Charles. The movie focused on Diana’s struggles with mental health and her rejection from the royal family. While many movies and shows unfairly sensationalize the life of Diana, Spencer took a more emotional and human approach to her story, giving audiences the most raw and real look at her yet. Stewart received both an Oscar and Golden Globe nomination for her role.

And of course, Twilight made the list, ranking #5. Not only did the franchise turn Stewart into an A-List Hollywood star, but it’s also one of the highest-grossing film franchises of all time, grossing more than $3.5 billion worldwide. While Twilight can be seen as somewhat cheesy and pulpy these days, it’s also totally campy and a lot of fun, making it still a great watch. Plus, it was a total phenomenon for many coming-of-age kids and teens in that time period.

Stewart has also starred in a wide range of other fantastic movies, like the LGBTQ holiday film Happiest Season and the sci-fi horror movie Underwater. Blending elements from Alien and Lovecraft’s Cthulhu, Underwater was an excellent addition for genre fans who love monster movies. Stewart’s 2024 film Love Lies Bleeding premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews and follows two lovers whose romance leads to crime and violence.

With such a wide range of roles in a large variety of genres, her filmography is much more varied than many fans might expect. Discover more of Kristen Stewart’s best movies and find out where to watch them with our guide below.

  • The 15 Best Cate Blanchett Movies and Where to Watch Them

The 15 Best Cate Blanchett Movies and Where to Watch Them

Cate Blanchett is one of the most accomplished actresses ever with a wide filmography that spans three decades. If you want to watch some of the actress’ best movies, check out our guide below which details where to stream these titles using platforms like Netflix, Prime Video and more!

To date, Cate Blanchett has been awarded two Oscars and four Golden Globes, and has been nominated for a total of eight Oscars and 12 Golden Globes. But she’s much more than just an award show darling. Blanchett has starred in everything from biting satires like Don’t Look Up to heist films like Ocean’s Eight, and she even portrayed Galadriel in The Lord of the Rings franchise.

Below we’ve ranked the actress’ 15 best movies, spanning her entire filmography. The best Cate Blanchett film so far is 1998’s Elizabeth. The movie tells the true story of how 25-year-old Elizabeth Tudor became the English queen after being released from imprisonment (she was banished there by her own sister). Throughout her reign, Queen Elizabeth I faced political rivals, death threats, and an empire on the brink of ruin. But she managed to keep the empire together and even grow it stronger.

In the film, Blanchett portrayed the queen and was joined in the cast by other notable actors like Geoffrey Rush, Richard Attenborough, and Daniel Craig in one of his first major roles. Elizabeth was well-received by both critics and audiences and went on to be nominated for seven Oscars. Blanchett even won a Golden Globe for her role. In 2007, the film received an equally popular sequel with Elizabeth: The Golden Age, which earned Blanchett more Oscar and Golden Globe nominations.

Beyond Elizabeth, Blanchett has portrayed tons of other fascinating characters in films that also made the Top 15 list, including her Oscar-winning portrayal of Katherine Hepburn in The Aviator and her turn as an adulterous teacher in the salacious, tension-filled psychological thriller Notes on a Scandal.

Blanchett recently starred as Lilith in the movie adaptation of Borderlands alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Hart and Ariana Greenblatt.

  • Where to watch the 15 best Scarlett Johansson movies

Where to watch the 15 best Scarlett Johansson movies

Whether you love her for her early career as an indie starlet, or love her for portraying Black Widow in the MCU, there’s no denying that Scarlett Johansson has had a long and prosperous career in Hollywood. If you want to discover some of Scarlett Johansson's best movies, check out our guide below which details where to find them streaming on services like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and more!

From the late '90s and into the 2000s, Scarlett Johansson was making a name for herself in numerous critically acclaimed indie films. From the angsty, coming-of-age Ghost World to the Oscar-winning dramedy Lost in Translation, Johansson was establishing herself as an actress who wasn’t afraid to take on lofty roles.

But Johansson’s career reached new heights in 2012 with the premiere of The Avengers. Filled with an all-star ensemble cast, the movie is seen as the true moment the Marvel Cinematic Universe took off, launching the largest franchise in Hollywood history.

And while Johansson has continued to star in numerous Avengers sequels, as well as her own standalone Black Widow film, the actress has largely returned to her dramatic roots in recent years. In fact, in 2020 alone Johansson was nominated for two Oscars: one for the bittersweet Marriage Story and the other for the Nazi-spoofing Jojo Rabbit.

Marriage Story takes the #1 spot on our ranking because, not only was it nominated for six Oscars, but it’s also incredibly deep, moving, and oftentimes painful. The movie follows the bitter divorce between a married couple and shows the ways it upends every aspect of their lives… turning two good-natured people into vengeful adversaries. Johansson was joined in the cast by Adam Driver, Laura Dern (who won an Oscar for her role), and Ray Liotta, among others.

Taking the #2 spot is her other Oscar nomination, Jojo Rabbit. The movie takes an absurdist look at what it must have been like to be a Nazi during the collapse of the regime at the end of World War II. While much of the movie is complete chaos and hilariously bombastic, Johansson brought a level of groundedness to the film, portraying a German mother secretly working against the Nazis.

Where to watch the best Scarlett Johansson movies online

Scarlett Johansson’s filmography has many more excellent movies to watch. From rom-coms like He’s Just Not That Into You to dystopic dramas about AI like Her, here are Scarlett Johansson’s 15 best movies and where to watch them in the United States.

  • The Best George Clooney Movies, Ranked (And Where to Watch Them)

The Best George Clooney Movies, Ranked (And Where to Watch Them)

George Clooney is one of the most decorated actors in Hollywood. Though he took a four-year hiatus from acting from 2016 - 2020, he returned to the film industry with a splash, dropping his biopic The Boys in the Boat and cameoing in The Flash in 2023, plus preparing to collaborate with Brad Pitt again in Wolfs. It will be exciting to see Pitt and Clooney back together after they previously starred in the Ocean’s film series. For viewers looking to familiarize themselves with Clooney’s work before seeing Wolfs, this guide will help you find his best works and where to watch them.

Clooney’s career began in the early 1980s after his cousin, actor Miguel Ferrer, got him a small role in a feature film and encouraged him to pursue a Hollywood career. By 1984, he landed his first starring role in the sitcom E/R. Ironically, his big break would come with the unrelated but similarly titled ER series, for which he received an Emmy nomination.

He further gained traction with his role in O Brother, Where Art Thou, and quickly followed it up with his iconic starring role as Danny Ocean in Ocean’s Eleven. His determined and passionate performance greatly aided in the film attaining the status of one of the greatest heist movies of all time. Clooney’s career took off after Ocean’s Eleven, and viewers would watch some of his greatest performances in the following years, including Syriana and Michael Clayton. He also started dabbling in filmmaking at this point, releasing his critically acclaimed film Good Night, and Good Luck in 2005.

Today, Clooney is among only four celebrities to receive at least one nomination in six different Oscar categories. The only others who have pulled off this feat are Walt Disney, Alfonso Cuarón, and Kenneth Branagh. Though his roles have grown a bit sparser in recent years due to his focus on filmmaking, he continues to star mostly in action thrillers, sci-fi films, and comedies.

With his latest films, including The Flash and Boys in the Boat, becoming available to stream and viewers preparing to watch Wolfs, it’s an excellent time to get into more of his movies. Hence, we have compiled a list of his ten best films ranked by how iconic and well-known his performance was and the films’ critical acclaim.
