Keanu Reeves has been working as an actor in film and television since the mid-1980s. Starring in a string of successful movies including, Point Break, My Own Private Idaho and Speed, Reeves became a household name with his performance as Neo in The Matrix.

He is well-known for his action and science fiction films, but has also starred in a few romantic comedies such as The Lake House. He also appeared as himself in the Netflix comedy Always Be My Maybe. Reeves is also a director and producer. He directed and starred in martial arts movie Man of Tai Chi and produced John Wick: Chapter 4. He is also a producer on the John Wick spin-off television series The Continental, and spin-off movie Ballerina.
