Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira return to their iconic The Walking Dead roles in ABC spinoff series
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is a post-apocalyptic drama-horror series produced by AMC Studios. The series is a spinoff of the original The Walking Dead series, which ran on AMC from 2010 to 2022 for 11 seasons and resulted in several other spinoff series including Fear the Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon, Dead City, and others. The Ones Who Live is created by Scott Gimple, who acted as showrunner for four seasons on the original series, and Danai Gurira, who played Michonne in all 11 seasons. The series takes place after the final events of The Walking Dead original series and wraps up the love story betwern Rick Grimes and Michonne in 6 episodes.
The Ones Who Live sees the return of Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, the hardened leader of the group throughout the original series. He is once more joined by Danai Gurira as his partner, the katana-wielding Michonne. Pollyanna McIntosh joins them as Jadis Stokes, who first appeared as the leader of the Scavengers on The Walking Dead, and later in the World Beyond spinoff series. Other confirmed cast members include Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl Thorne, Terry O'Quinn as Major General Beale, and Matthew August Jeffers as Nat.
