Lee Pace and Jared Harris return for a third season of Apple’s hit sci-fi drama series
Foundation Season 3 is the upcoming third season of Apple TV’s hit sci-fi series produced by Skydance Television. The series is created by David S Goyer, who continues to act as a writer and executive producer for the third season. Tim Southam, who directed some episodes of One Piece and American Gods, takes on directorial duties this season. Foundation is based on author Isaac Azimoff’s book series of the same name, although the series does not follow the books strictly.
Season 3 of Foundation brings back Lee Pace and Jared Harris as the series’ stars. Pace plays Brother Day, a middle aged clone of Emperor Cleon I. Harris plays Hari Seldon, a mathematician whose theory of psychohistory allows him to predict the future. Other actors returning for the third season include Lou Llobell, Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Leah Harvey, Terrence Mann, Isabella Laughland, Kulvinder Ghir, Holt McCallany, Rachel House, Ella-Rae Smith, Nimrat Kaur, Ben Daniels and Dimitri Leonidas.
