Eddie Healsted inherits his estranged father’s vast estate and fortune. But as he settles into his new life, he discovers his father was running the largest weed farm in Europe.
The Gentlemen Season 1 is the first season of the crime-drama series produced for Netflix. Acclaimed action film director Guy Ritchie creates, directs, and co-writes the adaptation of his 2019 film of the same name alongside Peaky Blinders creator Matthew Read. The Gentlemen is Ritchie’s second attempt at adapting one of his films for the small screen, after making the Channel 4 series called Lock, Stock…, based on his film Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Hugh Warren produces the series.
The Gentlemen stars The White Lotus darling Theo James in as Eddie Halstead, the unwitting heir to an illegal weed farm. Ray Winstone plays cannabis empire overlord Bobby Glass, and Kaya Scodelario play’s Glass’ business-savvy daughter, Susie. They are joined by Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian star Giancarlo Esposito, Vinnie Jones, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Max Beesley, and more.
