Synopsis
Daredevil and Kingpin face off in a spectacular showdown in Hell’s Kitchen
Matt Murdock is a blind lawyer by day and a crime-fighting vigilante known as Daredevil by night. As he protects his neighbourhood Hell’s Kitchen, he is once more confronted with the menacing presence of Wilson Fisk, otherwise known as Kingpin.

Not quite as edgy as the Netflix series, but we'll take it
Disney was never going to quite allow Daredevil to unleash his full fury in the same way Netflix did, but credit where credit's due, this is a fitting continuation for one of the most intriguing superhero shows of all time, and an almost seamless transition. The violence is deliciously bloody, the actors are all clearly having fun, but the series is simply let down by a story that doesn't quite do justice to what Matt Murdock is all about. If you're in this deep with the MCU, it's a must-watch anyway, and it's definitely not an experience you'll regret investing time in.

Hell's Kitchen’s finest has finally returned to our screens. But have no fear because The Man Without Fear is better than ever in a revival that continues everything that worked so well in the original with a few marked improvements too. Gritty crime, courtroom drama and superhero antics are threaded together masterfully by Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio who embody Marvel's greatest hero/villain dynamic with intense award-worthy performances. What a relief that Daredevil: Born Again came out as well as it did, and with a second season already confirmed to boot.

What is Daredevil: Born Again about?
Daredevil: Born Again is a superhero action series produced by Marvel Studios for Disney. The series continues the story of Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil) as he faces-off against Kingpin. Continuity-wise, the series is a sequel to Netflix’s Daredevil, which ran from 2015–2018, although it is itself a standalone series that is part of Marvel’s Phase Five slate. The series comprises 18 episodes, and is executive produced by Kevin Feige, and Covert Affairs writers Matt Corman and Chris Ord.
Who stars in Daredevil: Born Again?
Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil), after first appearing as the character in Netflix’s Daredevil series. He is joined by Vincent D’Onofrio, who also transfers his role from the Netflix series over to Disney, portraying the villain Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin). More familiar faces making the jump from the Netflix series to Disney are Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (aka The Punisher), Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Elden Henson as Franklin 'Foggy' Nelson. The rest of the cast includes Ayelet Zurer, Michael Gandolfini, Arty Froushan, Margarita Levieva, and Nikki M. James.
