Synopsis

Fatal Attraction is an erotic psychological thriller series produced by Paramount Pictures. The series is adapted from the original 1987 classic film of the same name. Alexandra Cunningham is the writer, showrunner, and executive producer for the series, while Kevin J. Hynes co-writes the adaptation of the film. The series is directed by Silver Tree, who also directed episodes of Shameless, You, and Dead to Me. Fatal Attraction explores themes of infidelity, patriarchal values, and mental health through a 2023 lens.
Lizzy Caplan stars as Alex Forrest, taking on the iconic role originally played by Glenn Close in the film. Joshua Jackson plays Dan Gallagher, who was originally portrayed by Michael Douglas. Amanda Peet portrays Beth Gallagher, Dan’s wife, who was originally played by Anne Archer.
