Synopsis

Horror director extraordinaire James Wan co-produces Warner Bros' The Nun sequel
The Nun 2 is the second instalment in the supernatural horror prequel film series, and the ninth film in the Conjuring franchise. Original director James Wan and horror Peter Safran co-produce the Nun 2 for Warner Bros Pictures. The sequel to 2018’s The Nun is directed by Michael Chaves, who previously directed two Conjuring Universe productions: The Curse of La Llorona and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Akela Cooper pens the script for The Nun 2, after collaborating with producer James Wan as a co-writer on M3GAN and the scriptwriter on Malignant.
Taissa Farmiga once more dons the habit as the brave Sister Irene for The Nun 2. Bonnie Aarons plays the demonic spirit Valak, and Jonas Bloquet once again appears as Frenchie. New cast members include Anna Popplewell and Storm Reid.
