Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is a sci-fi action film produced by 20th Century Studios. The film focuses on the story of the revolutionary chimp Noa and his human friend Mae, who take on the reign of the tyrannical Proximus Caesar. The film is a sequel to 2017’s War for the Planet of the Apes and is the fourth instalment overall in the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is directed by Wes Ball, who is known for his work directing the Maze Runner trilogy.
