Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Claire Foy, and Jamie Bell star in Andrew Haigh’s emotional romantic fantasy film
All of Us Strangers is a romantic fantasy film produced by Film4 Productions and Blueprint Pictures. The film is written and directed by Andrew Haigh, who loosely adapted the story from Taichi Yamada’s 1987 novel Strangers. Haigh’s previous films include Weekend, 45 Years, and Lean on Pete. South African cinematographer Jamie D Ramsay is behind the camera, while French pianist Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch composes the touching score.
All of Us Strangers stars Andrew Scott (Sherlock, Fleabag) as Adam, a writer delving into his past while cultivating a relationship with Harry, a mysterious man living in his building played by Paul Mescal (Aftersun, Normal People). Adam’s parents, who are frozen in time at the same age they were on the day they died 30 years ago, are played by Claire Foy and Jamie Bell.
