Synopsis
Gil Boksoon is a skilled assassin with a lot to learn when it comes to parenting her teenage daughter...
Gil — otherwise known as “Kill” — Boksoon is a deadly assassin for hire working for MK Ent., a business specialised in targeted killings run by her mentor, Cha Min Kyo. But while Gil is highly skilled at her job, she’s on a steep learning curve when it comes to being a single mother to a teenage girl. When it's time to renew her work contract, she must decide whether or not to take on one last job or leave the killing behind her for good.

Kill Boksoon premiered at the Berlinale International Film Festival in 2023
Kill Boksoon is a Netflix action-drama from South Korea. The film is written and directed by Byun Sung-hyun, and produced by Seed Film. Byun Sung-hyun previously helmed 2022’s political drama Kingmaker, and 2017’s crime-action film The Merciless.
The main character, Gil Boksoon, is played by Jeon Do-yeon, who has also had roles in The Good Wife and Lost. Sol Kyung Gu plays Cha Min Kyu, CEO of MK Ent. and mentor to Gil. Esom plays Cha Min Hee, the director of MK Ent.. Koo Kyo Hwan plays another contract killer, Han Hee Sung, and Kim Shi Ah plays Gil Jae Young.
