Synopsis

Hercule must complete extraordinary tasks to prove he is worthy enough to sit on Mount Olympus

The half-god Hercules was abducted as a young child by Hades, the god of the underworld, and brought to live on earth with the mortals. As he grows up and realises who, and what, he is, Hercules is challenged to complete a series of tasks in order to take his place amongst the other gods on Mount Olympus.

Guy Ritchie directs his second Disney cartoon live-action remake with Hercules

Hercules is an upcoming live-action adventure film produced by Disney. The film is directed by famed action director Guy Ritchie, known for his films Snatch and Sherlock Holmes. He also has previous experience directing live-action Disney remakes, including Aladdin and King Arthur: Legend of the Stone. Hercules is a live-action adaptation of the 1997’s classic Disney cartoon of the same name. Dave Callaham writes the script, while the Russo Brothers behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe produce the film.
