Dive back into the sands of Arakkis with this Dune prequel series following the story of the sisters who founded the Bene Gesserit order.
Dune: Part Two - (Now streaming) NOW
If you can’t get enough of the Dune universe, the second part of Denis Villeneuve’s epic film series is also now available on NOW, starring Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides some three hundred years after the events of the prequel series Dune: Prophecy.
Landman - (Now streaming) Paramount+
Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan brings out a new series that takes place during the modern-day oil rush in west Texas. Billy Bob Thornton stars as Tommy Norris, the quippy and whip-smart overseer of an oil drilling operation holding things together while facing all manner of bureaucratic hurdles, interference from the law, criminality, and more.
The Listeners - (November 19) BBC iPlayer
This new BBC drama stars Rebecca Hall as Claire, a small-town English teacher living a quiet life with her husband and daughter. When Claire starts to hear a low humming noise almost no one else can hear, the difference begins to drive a wedge between her and her family, and draw her towards the community of people who also hear the sound.
The Merry Gentlemen - (November 20) Netflix
If you’re ready to start getting your Christmas cheer on, why not start with a festive romcom starring One Tree Hill’s Chad Michael Murray and Britt Robertson? Robertson plays Ashley, a professional choreographer who aims to save her parents’ small-town venue over the Christmas season by hosting a show starring hunky shirtless men.
Cruel Intentions - (November 21) Amazon Prime Video
This television series gives the 1999 classic Cruel Intentions starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, and Reese Witherspoon a modern makeover. The series follows a brother and sister attending a college in Washington DC who will do anything to maintain their status on campus — including seducing the Vice President’s daughter.
Man on the Inside - (November 21) Netflix
This comedy-drama by The Good Place, Brooklyn 99, and Parks and Recreation co-creator Mike Schur stars Ted Danson as a retired professor who answers a newspaper ad looking for an undercover agent. His mission is to infiltrate a nursing home to solve the mystery of a missing family heirloom.
Joy - (November 22) Netflix
Joy stars Thomasin McKenzie, James Norton, and Bill Nighy in the touching recounting of the true story of IVF’s creation. Born from the innovative collaboration between a scientist, a surgeon, and a nurse, the revolutionary treatment has helped millions of couples welcome children into their lives.
