Bad Boys: Ride or Die is a buddy cop action-comedy film directed by Adil & Bilall for Sony Pictures Releasing. It serves as the fourth installment in the Bad Boys franchise which began in 1995 and is a direct sequel to 2020's Bad Boys For Life. The series was originally created by George Gallo and follows Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett of the Miami Police Department.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die is helmed by directing duo Adil & Bilall after previously directing the 2020 entry. Chris Bremner penned the screenplay for the film after co-writing Bad Boys for Life with Peter Craig and Joe Carnahan. Lead star Will Smith serves as producer on the film alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Doug Belgrad.
Who stars in Bad Boys: Ride or Die?
Will Smith stars as Detective Lieutenant Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence as Detective Lieutenant Marcus Miles Burnett. Both actors have starred in every Bad Boys chapter from 1995, 2003 and 2020.
Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig and Paola Núñez reprise their roles from the previous film. Hudgens resumes her position as Kelly, the skilled weapons expert of AMMO. Ludwig reprises his role as Dorn, the tech whiz of AMMO while Núñez returns as Lieutenant Rita Secada. Additionally, Tasha Smith steps into the role of Theresa Burnett, taking over from Theresa Randle who portrayed the character in the previous three films. Jacob Scipio returns as Mike's son, Armando.
Eric Dance, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn and Joyner Lucas are all new additions to the fourth film.
