Synopsis
New mysteries emerge from both the winter of 1996 and the present day
The teenage survivors of a plane crash and their future selves are wrapped up in a traumatic set of events that revolve around their time stranded in the wilderness. While Shauna, Taissa, Natalie and Misty have been at the centre of the story so far, Season 2 sees the revelation of new survivors. In the depths of a difficult winter, the young teenagers must use extreme methods to ensure their survival. Once a successful high-school soccer team, the girls fall into savage sects all set upon their own success. Expect a return for the Antler Queen, Lottie Matthews, with her adult counterpart also set to play a role. Season 2 delves deeper into the religiosity and rituals of the stranded soccer players who, in their desperation, become unrecognizable.

Yellowjackets Season 2 is a survival thriller television series. Produced for Showtime, Yellowjackets is created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. The first season was critically acclaimed, receiving seven Emmy nominations. Creators, Lyle and Nickerson originally pitched the idea as a five-season drama.
Melanie Lynsky and Sophie Nelisse play the secretive Shauna. Tawny Cypress and Jasmin Savoy Brown play Taissa, once the star soccer player now seeking political office. Juliette Lewis and Sophie Thatcher are portraying the freshly-kidnapped Natalie while Christina Ricci and Sammi Hanratty play Misty. Courtney Eaton returns as the enigmatic and terrifying Antler Queen and cult leader Lottie Matthews. Yellowjackets Season 2 was released on the Showtime Anytime on 24th March, 2023.
