Synopsis
After the uncovering of Task Force X, the unflinching Amanda Waller is on a new mission
Amanda Waller is head of the Advanced Research Group United Support (A.R.G.U.S.). Her job is to mobilize highly-skilled, off-the-books assets to avoid large-scale catastrophes. A powerful and intelligent political operative, Waller is not afraid of the supervillains that she uses to get her way. But now that her undercover schemes are out in the open and the Task Force X project has been exposed, Waller’s future remains uncertain.

Waller is an upcoming superhero drama miniseries. The miniseries is executive produced by James Gunn, Peter Safran, Christal Henry, and series star Viola Davis. The show was developed by Christal Henry who was a writer and producer on Watchmen alongside Jeremy Carver who worked on Doom Patrol.
How does Waller connect to the DCU?
The Waller TV series is a spin-off from the show Peacemaker .The events of the show take place directly after the Peacemaker series finale in which the existence of Task Force X is revealed to the public. The show also introduces Project Butterfly into the DCU. Waller is part of the DCU slate, Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters which also includes the likes of Superman, Peacemaker Season 2, Lanterns and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow among others.
Who stars in Waller?
Waller features multi-award-winning actress Viola Davis in the role of Amanda Waller. Davis has portrayed the character multiple times already including in the movies Suicide Squad, The Suicide Squad, Black Adam, and the television show Peacemaker. She is joined by Steve Agee who plays the character John Economos, an aide to Amanda Waller.
