Synopsis
John Doe and Quiet are an unlikely duo being pursued across a lawless landscape of thieves and murderers
Set in a dusty post-apocalyptic landscape, John Doe is an amnesiac milkman delivering supplies from one settlement to another with no memory of his past. When he is offered the chance for a better life in exchange for delivering just one package he seizes the opportunity. But once the job begins, he is pursued by marauding drivers trying to run him off the road. Forming an unlikely bond with car thief, Quiet, the pair set off on a thrilling high-stakes mission that will see them face a demented clown operating out of a weaponized ice cream truck.

Twisted Metal is a post-apocalyptic comedy action television show. It is based on the video game of the same name published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The show is produced by PlayStation Productions, Sony Pictures Television, and Universal Television for the Peacock streaming service. Twisted Metal is developed by Michael Jonathan Smith with writers such as Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Grant Dekernion, and Alison Tafel among others on board. The show consists of ten episodes each running for approximately half an hour.
The show is led by actor Anthony Mackie who plays the character Jone Doe. Mackie is known for his role as Sam Wilson/Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He plays alongside Stephanie Beatriz from Brooklyn Nine-Nine who plays the car thief, Quiet. Professional wrestler Samoa Joe takes on the role of Sweet Tooth who is also voiced by comedian Will Arnett. The expanded cast includes Thomas Haden Church, Richard Cabral, Chloe Fineman, and Neve Campbell. Twisted Metal was released on the Peacock streaming service on July 27th, 2023.
