The medical team at Chastain Memorial Hospital returns with a whole new slate of challenges both in and out of the operating room. Leela and Devon are back together and working out their differences on the issue of starting a family. Leela’s sister Padma meanwhile is dealing with the revelation that she is pregnant with twins. Kit and Bell are soon to be getting married after their engagement which should provide some relief. Bell continues in his redemptive arc as he is now set on training Leela as his protege surgeon. Meanwhile the big cliffhanger will surely be answered. After the death of his partner, the struggles with grief and the trepidation around new love, Conrad will finally step with confidence into a decision about his romantic future. Conrad knows he must choose between either Cade or Billie and embrace the healing power of a new love.
