Synopsis
The House of Usher is under attack as a ghost from their past returns
Fortunata Pharmaceuticals CEO, Roderick Usher is being haunted by a demon from the past. Alongside his twin sister Madeline, Roderick has been building his business empire for himself and his family. But when his children begin mysteriously dying, Roderick and the whole House of Usher have to face a history they thought was long buried.

Fall of the House of Usher Season 1 is a horror thriller miniseries. It is based on the short story by Edgar Allan Poe. The show is created by the filmmaker and director Mike Flanagan who is known for the movie Doctor Sleep. He is also the creator of the Netflix television series The Haunting of Bly Manor, and The Haunting of Hill House. Fall of the House of Usher Season 1 includes Justina Ireland, Emmy Grinwis, Matt Johnson, Dani Parker, Kiele Sanchez, Jamie Flanagan, and Rebecca Leigh Klingel in the writer’s room.
Season 1 of Fall of the House of Usher features an ensemble cast led by Mary McDonnell and Bruce Greenwood who play Madeline and Roderick Usher respectively. Carla Gugino stars as Verna while Carl Lumbly plays police investigator C. Auguste Dupin. Samantha Sloyan, T’Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Sauriyan Sapkota, Michael Turcco, Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel, and Mark Hamill make up the rest of the cast. Fall of the House of Usher Season 1 was released on October 12th, 2023 on Netflix.
