Superhospital (2015)

Superhospital is a brand new documentary series about the Royal Derby Hospital, a place providing healthcare on a massive scale. Over eight thousand staff treat one million patients a year. Lives begin and lives are saved every day of the week. The series offers a behind the scenes look at one of the newest and largest hospitals in the UK, telling the stories of those people - from surgeons to security guards, doctors to domestics - who all play a part in helping patients and keeping the hospital running. Through intimate and revealing footage, the series gets under the skin of staff as they share their patients' moments of drama, joy and sadness.
