MTV’s Status Updates follows a group of Los Angeles twenty-somethings as they attempt to navigate the world of relationships in today’s age of over-sharing. In a world where connecting is easy, why does it have to be so complicated? Scott and Maggie are friends that should be a couple but aren’t. Claire and Paul are a couple but maybe shouldn’t be. Audrey is a career girl in complete control of every aspect of her life, except for dating. This funny and heartfelt series shows the highs and lows, small victories and public humiliations of dating in the 21st century. Throughout, Maggie, Claire, and Audrey’s friendship endures, even when today’s minefield of internet stalking, sexting snafus, webcams, and passive-aggressive-photo-tagging threatens to ruin everything.
