Reacher Season 3 is an upcoming action television series for Amazon Prime Video based on Lee Child's book series. It is developed by Nick Santora. The show features Jack Reacher, a former U.S. Army Military Police Major turned wanderer. In the 2012 film and its 2016 sequel, Tom Cruise played the lead role. The original season follows Reacher facing a murder charge in Margrave, Georgia, where he collaborates with two honest cops to uncover a local conspiracy. The second season sees him reuniting with his disbanded MP unit to solve a mysterious murder in New York City.
Nick Santora is best known for his work on hit shows like The Sopranos, Law & Order, Prison Break and FBI, along with creating the Netflix series FUBAR featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Variety previously announced that Reacher claimed the top spot in the Nielsen streaming rankings during the week of February 7 – 13, 2022, following the release of its first season. This milestone marked a historic accomplishment for Amazon, as it was the first time an Amazon production had dominated the streaming charts.
Alan Ritchson reprises his lead role in the third season. He previously portrayed Aquaman/Arthur Curry in the popular television series, Smallville, and Hank Hall/Hawk in Titans.
