Synopsis
A Victorian crime drama from the creators of Peaky Blinders
In the 1880s two men from Jamaica arrive in London’s notorious East End. Hezekiah and Alec learn quickly that in order to survive they must use both cunning and force. Fighting is a quick way to earn some money and through the ring, the pair meet local gangster and boxer Sugar Goodson. However, the Queen of crime in the East End, Mary Carr, head of the all-female crime syndicate, the Forty Elephants takes an unusual interest in Hezekiah leading to unexpected consequences.
