Synopsis
In Skatoony, animation meets live action, as real kids compete with toons in a quiz-style game show. Three young contestants and original animated characters compete in four trivia-based game rounds to win a spectacular prize. Like an animated version of Hollywood Squares for kids, three young contestants and an assortment of original animated characters compete in four trivia-based games such as Bang on or Bogus, Draw What You Hear and Shout Out When You Know What You’ve Drawn and the ever mucky Hoo Flung Dung. Contestants compete to win a place in the final round of Skatoony Quiz Champ Challenge and win a spectacular prize. Skatoony is anchored by the dynamic duo cartoon hosts “Chudd Chudders” and his lounge-singing sidekick “The Earl.” Each week they attempt to put together a spectacular show, despite all manner of mad happenings and one greedy studio exec Charles La Puck who seems to conspire against them.
