Synopsis

What is Silo Season 2 about?
Silo Season 2 is a dystopian science fiction drama. It is based on a series of books called Wool written by Hugh Howey. The show is created by screenwriter Graham Yost best known for his work on the TV series Justified. Yost continues in his role for Season 2. Morten Tyldum directs the first three episodes of Silo Season 2.
Who stars in Silo Season 2?
Rebecca Ferguson returns to the main role of Juliette Nichols. Common returns as the mysterious and menacing Robert Sims. Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Avi Nash, and Chinaza Uche all reprise their roles in the second season. Steve Zahn also joins the cast for the second season.
How many seasons of Silo are planned?
Star of the series Rebecca Ferguson suggested that the show could have a three or four season arc. Silo is based on a trilogy of books and in order to cover the whole story written by Hugh Howey, the show would need at least one more season, possibly two.
Why was Silo Season 2 delayed?
Silo Season 2 began filming in June 2023 but was paused and delayed by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Production on the series was officially completed in March 2024.
