Season 1 of the Netflix Scott Pilgrim Anime brings back the whole cast from the original movie
Scott Pilgrim The Anime Season 1 is a romantic comedy action anime show produced by Netflix. Season 1 is based on the Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series produced by Bryan Lee O’Malley who also writes the show with BenDavid Grabinski. Scott Pilgrim The Anime Season 1 is also based on the 2010 film adaptation, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, directed by Edgar Wright who also serves as a producer on the show. Spanish animator Abel Gongora directs the first season.
Scott Pilgrim The Anime Season 1 features the entire cast of the movie, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World reprising its roles. Michael Cera leads the series as the titular hero. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is the love interest, Ramona Flowers. Kieran Culkin is Wallace Wells, the roommate while Anna Kendrick is Scott’s sister Stacey. Satya Bhaba is Matthew Patel, Chris Evans voices Lucas Lee while Brie Larson returns as Envy Adams and Aubrey Plaza reprises her role as Julie Powers. The rest of the returning cast includes Ellen Wong, Brandon Routh, and Jason Schwartzman. Scott Pilgrim: The Anime Season 1 was released on November 17th, 2023 on Netflix.
