Macross Plus - Macross Plus (1994)

Based on the original Superdimensional Fortress Macross, which was edited for U.S. television and released as the popular series Robotech, Macross Plus tells the story of Isamu Dyson, an extroverted jet fighter maverick fresh from the battlefield who is assigned as a test pilot for Project Super Nova. Competition heats up when he discovers that his former childhood friend turned bitter rival, Guld, is a test pilot for a competing fighter project. Old jealousies and long-forgotten feelings are rekindled with the arrival of Myung.
