Synopsis
In the spirit of 'The Simple Life' and 'Schitt's Creek' comes a comedic social experiment where Sonja and Luann from RHONY check their privilege at door and fully immerse themselves in a work/life experience like no other - This is Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake. Sonya and Luann will give up the luxuries of their daily lives and lifestyle and move into - and RUN - a real operational motel in a small town, in Southern Illinois. The location is set on a man-made lake, known locally as ""Crapp Lake,"" due to its adjacent location to a sewage treatment plant. Sonya and Luann will also get to 'test-run' the town of Crapp Lake and in each episode will be tasked by the mayor to plan an event such as the town parade, the summer theatrical performance or help run the operations of the Friday Night football game.
