Synopsis
Lockwood & Co. Season 1 follows Lucy Carlyle, Anthony Lockwood, and George Karim, three gifted teens, doing battle with spirits and demons every night. Keeping London safe, this small plucky start-up is fighting against a growing corporate control over the business of ghost hunting. What they lack in money, the trio makes up for in skill and abilities. The three adolescent detectives are renowned as the most talented and as their cases stack up, so too does a new mystery. Lockwood & Co. is based on the book series of the same name by author Jonathan Stroud. It is the first television project of writer and director Joe Cornish.

Lockwood & Co. Season 1 is a supernatural detective mystery show. The series is directed by Joe Cornish, writer, and director of the hit indie movie Attack the Block. Season 1 is based on the book series written by Jonathan Stroud. It is produced by Nira Park and Rachael Prior through their production company Complete Fiction. The production company is responsible for a host of high-profile movies such as Baby Driver, Hot Fuzz, and Shaun of the Dead. The series is led by Ruby Stokes who plays Lucy Carlyle. Cameron Chapman is Anthony Lockwood and Ali Hadji-Heshmati plays George Karim. The series sees William McGregor directing a selection of episodes from the first season. Lockwood & Co. was released on Netflix on January 27th, 2023.
