Synopsis
The Suicide Squad finds themselves in unfamiliar territory in this new adventure featuring the Joker and Harley Quinn
Task Force X, otherwise known as the Suicide Squad is transported to an entirely new realm for a new mission. With their boss Amanda Waller behind the scenes, this group of antiheroes faces challenges the like of which they have never faced before. With Harley Quinn and the Joker in tow, the Suicide Squad is full of familiar villains facing down new foes from another world.

Suicide Squad Isekai Season 1 is a superhero anime television series. The show is based on the DC characters the Suicide Squad created by Ross Andru and Robert Kanigher. Season 1 of Suicide Squad Isekai is produced by Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio, an animation studio known for their work on Attack on Titan and Spy x Family. The isekai genre is one in which a character is reborn in an entirely new world.
The animation director of Jujutsu Kaisen, Eri Osada, is the director of Suicide Squad Season 1. He is joined by screenwriters Eiji Umehara and Tappei Nagatsuki. Akira Amano is creating the original character drafts while Naoto Hosada is the character designer. Kenichiro Suehiro is handling the music and score. Suicide Squad Isekai Season 1 was released on June 27, 2024 on Max.
