Synopsis
Miu is new to the shady underworld of Copenhagen. Amidst the fluorescent lights and shadowy figures, Miu is seeking vengeance and will not stop until she finds it. She pursues her nemesis, Rakel, through the deepest and darkest levels of Copenhagen’s criminal landscape. In their rivalry, the two fall from the natural into the surreal and sensational as their conflict spills over to define the world around them. For Miu and Rakel, coming to terms with their past is the only way to guarantee a future worth living in.

Copenhagen Cowboy Season 1 is a neo-noir psychological thriller series produced by Netflix. It is directed by cult hero Nicolas Winding Refn. He is known for a hyper-stylized approach and for being unafraid to use violence and sexual imagery to shock his audiences. Season 1 features six, one-hour-long episodes. He will be working alongside Danish cinematographer Magnus Nordenhof Jonck and his partner Liv Corfixen who is an executive producer on the project. With a pulsating electronic score, Copenhagen Cowboy utilizes a wide range of music, with Kristian Eidnes Andersen overseeing the sound department.
