Synopsis
It’s been 15 years since Julian Kaye was arrested for murder and the sex worker is looking for answers as he struggles to adapt to modern Los Angeles and its sex industry. Kaye wants to know why he was framed and who was behind the ordeal that sent him away to prison. He’s also hoping he gets the chance to reunite with his true love, Michelle. American Gigolo is a drama series developed by David Hollander and based on the 1980s film of the same name. Kaye is played by Jon Bernthal, who is joined on screen by Gretchen Mol, Wayne Brady, Leland Orser, and Rosie O’Donnell who takes on the role of Detective Sunday.
