Jennifer Lawrence is an actress and producer who has starred in a range of multi-million dollar movie franchises and independent films. She rose to fame in 2010’s Winter’s Bone as Ree Dolly. Her performance earned her an Academy Award Best Actress nomination. She later won the Best Actress Oscar for 2013’s Silver Linings Playbook

Lawrence starred as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise, and as Mystique in the X-Men film series. She is also a frequent collaborator with director David O. Russell, having starred in his films American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbook and Joy. Bradley Cooper also acted in all three of those movies alongside Lawrence. 

While the majority of her films are dramas, she is known for her comedy style which often comes across in press interviews. Her comedic films include the Netflix comedy disaster film Don’t Look Up and the raunchy blockbuster No Hard Feelings which she also produced.
