Star Trek: Discovery Season 5 is the fifth and final season of the sci-fi adventure series produced by CBS Studios for Paramount+. The series is based in Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek universe, and takes place 900 years after the original series. Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise serve as the season 5 showrunners, while Olatunde Osunsanmi continues to act as executive producer and producing director on the series. Commander William Riker actor Jonathan Frakes directs several of season 5’s episodes. Frakes has previous experience directing Star Trek content, having helmed episodes of The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Picard, and Strange New Worlds.

Lieutenant Sylvia Tilly is played by Mary Wiseman, and Tig Notaro plays engineer Jett Reno. The rest of the cast includes David Ajala as Cleveland ‘Book’ Bookerand, Burnham’s love interest, and Annabelle Wallis’ sentient computer Zora sits at the helm of the ship.
