Synopsis

Gilbert Power and his motley podcast crew, Emmy and Dove, head to the strange and idyllic town of Bodkin, Ireland, in the hopes of using the cold case of three disappeared men as their next story. However, as they investigate further, they realise the case might not be as cold as they thought…

Comedic actor Will Forte stars as an investigative podcaster in search of a new story in Netflix series
Bodkin Season 1 is the first season of the true crime comedy series produced by Higher Ground Productions for Netflix. Jez Scharf (Mister Biscuits, The Undream) creates the series and is co-showrunner alongside Alex Metcalf (The Loudest Voice, Sharp Objects). Barack and Michelle Obama’s production studio Higher Ground produces the series, which is their first ever scripted drama for Netflix.
Saturday Night Live alum Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth) stars in Bodkin as Gilbert Power, a good natured and charming American podcaster searching for a new story. His podcasting team is made up of Dove, played by Siobhan Cullen, an investigative journalist in the midst of a career crisis, and Emmy, played by Robyn Cara, who is an aspiring podcasting host in awe of Gilbert’s skill. Other cast members include David Wilmot, Chris Walley, Peter Bankolé, David Pearse, Clodagh Mooney Duggan, and more.
