When Asha wishes upon a star, she hopes that everything she wants will come true. But things don’t go to plan, when a trouble-making star comes down from the sky to help fulfil her wish.

Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine and Alan Tudyk star in Disney animated movie ‘Wish’
Wish is an animated musical fantasy film directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn. The duo both worked on Frozen, with Buck co-directing and Veerasunthorn as a storyboard artist. Dave Metzger, who composed the score for Frozen and Moana, will also be working on Wish, alongside singer-songwriter Julia Michaels, Benjamin Rice and JP Saxe who are writing original songs for the film. The film is produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Ariana DeBose (Best Supporting Actress Oscar winner for West Side Story) leads an all-star ensemble cast, as the voice of Asha in Wish. The voice cast also stars Chris Pine (Star Trek) as King Magnifico, who is the sole keeper of hundreds of wishes from around the world. Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, A Knight’s Tale) plays a goat called Valentino, with Angelique Cabral (Life in Pieces) as Queen Amaya, and Victor Garber (Alias, Argo) as Asha’s 100-year–old granddad, Sabino. The cast also includes Natasha Rothwell, Jennifer Kumiyama, Evan Peters, Harvey Guillen, Ramy Youssef, Niko Vargas, Della Saba and Jon Rudnitsky.
