Synopsis
An unlikely group bands together to de-haunt the mansion
Single mum Gabbie and her son Travis have recently moved into a suspiciously affordable mansion in New Orleans, but the deal is not as sweet as it seemed. When they realise their new home is haunted, they must put together a team of oddballs to help them clear the house of unwanted energies. Among the enlisted help includes a paranormal investigator, psychic, a priest and a historian.

Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito and Rosario Dawson lead Haunted Mansion cast
Haunted Mansion is a family friendly supernatural horror/comedy film. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures, it is the second film based on the Haunted Mansion Disneyland ride in the United States. The first film, released in 2003, starred Eddie Murphy. The 2023 film is a completely different plot and interpretation of the original Disneyland ride.
Justin Simien, known as writer and director of the Dear White People film and Netflix series, directs the film. Ghostbusters reboot writer Katie Dippold pens the screenplay. Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka) stars as Gabbie. LaKeith Stanfield (Judas and the Black Messiah) plays Ben Matthias, Owen Wilson (Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Marley and Me) plays the priest Ken, Tiffany Haddish (The Afterparty) plays Harriet the psychic, and Danny DeVito (Matilda, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) plays college history professor Bruce. Dan Levy (Schitt’s Creek), Jamie Lee Curtis (Freaky Friday) and Jared Leto (House of Gucci), Winona Ryder (Stranger Things) and Hasan Minhaj (Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj) also feature.
